I'll start.

Kudos to Travis for absolutely sizzling tonight: 19 points in 19 minutes, some decent D, attacking the rim and not settling.

Post 'em if you got 'em.

Miller for setting the tempo. That set the tone.

Kudos to Bayless for making the most of his time two games in a row. Before the second half tonight, he was averaging a point a minute too.

Kudos to Bayless for embracing his role and making the most of the minutes he got.

Nate for making the haters suck it!

Kudos to LaMarcus for getting to the free throw line 9 times ... now do it again!

Kudos to Roy for not jacking up shots just to pad his stats, but instead looking for the open man, assisting on 7 buckets.

Kudos to everybody: 35 assists on 41 made FG's? That's INSANE!

Oden for committing one foul in 22 minutes of play.

Yes! And he still played good defense! :ghoti:

Kudos to the guards for grabbing so many rebounds: Our 3 guard lineup gathered 14 boards between them. Rudy chipped in 5 more.

Kudos to David Kahn for blowing up the wolves, drafting two point guards, signing another and for hiring Kurt Rambis to coach and teach them from scratch, the very difficult to master triangle offense. We really needed to play you guys tonight ...

Bayless has wickedly improved his pg play, the way he was driving to the basket, dishing, taking fouls, it was amazing, to see. And Cunningham needs to get mo minutes. He can hit mid range shots and be a good complementary "banger type" of pf for Joel.

And Miller is still one of the best pgs in the league.

he needed his fouls per game average lowered ...

I thought maybe he'd come in later in the 4th, but really there was no need. I also think it'd be bad form in that situation to put in a starter in garbage time. Oden's not a rookie, so that excuse is gone this year. And he would have decimated The round mound Minny had out there.

Perhaps, but I actually thought Jawai was playing very well, he was much more polished offensively in the post than I expected for a guy his size.

Good point. Joel did pick up 4 fouls against him. Oden might have fouled out in that situation. No need to put him through that for garbage time.

Hey, Nik, great thread... maybe a good Post-Game thread is just what we need after every win!

Unless they play like shit, in which case I'll post a "peanuts" thread -- as in you'll have to pick them out of the turd if you want to find anything "good"

My go-to peanut is always: "We're upset because we're used to better. In 2004-05 and 2005-06, we considered losses like these moral victories because Joel got 18 rebounds even though we lost by 8."

Kudos to Dante for getting his 1st NBA regular season points! All 6 of them!

...of course we're never going to win a championship with DC putting up triple the points of Roy every night...Kudos to me for pointing that out!

Wrong. If Roy puts up 20 PPG and Cunningham triples that, Portland can definitely win a championship.

Damn! You beat me to it. He got his first official NBA minutes (6) and first NBA points (also 6).

Way to take advantage of those garbage time minutes. Hopefully, there will be more to come.

BNM

Kudos to the team, for showing what they can do when 'The Sarge' isn't strangling them tactically.

kudos to Rudy for this pass to Joel
