on the team could lead to us bringing in a youngish guy with a larger contract from a team that isn't doing as well as they thought they would, so, brainstorming this, who are some targets?

Brook Lopez, he has been mentioned before, and might be a little too old and injury prone, but would be a big help. Looks like the Bucks are about as bad as us so far even though they were supposed to be a top East team, could we still get Monroe after all even though he just signed there? Denver sucks pretty bad, and I could see them shedding Faried's contract, does anyone still have interest in him? A complete pipe dream, but the Kings suck too, and it would be cool to bring in Cousins, warts and all.

Any other guys you can think of that fit that description?

Durant, he's been really injury prone the last two years.

Paul George or if I'm dreaming more...Anthony Davis

Damian Lillard!

With the cap rising next summer and a "meh" free agent class, why would any team be so desperate to dump salary that they would give up a player with any value? Maybe somebody like Brook Lopez who is a risk to pull a Greg Oden at any moment...but why would we want somebody like that?

Bingo.

Cap space has never been worth so little.
