Yeah, Crow has it down. Not much to this story. The thing that's amazing about evolution, isn't so much that you can have these random mutations in an individual lineage over time. It's that ALL of the individuals EVER born are ALL having random mutations. It's like if you had one computer trying to solve a giant math problem it'd take years. But when you have thousands of computers all working together, the synergy of them together will be faster than each by themselves. It just takes one advantageous mutation to spread faster than another. And then this "knowledge" is built upon by it's progeny.
