Yeah, I don't know about everyone else but I find myself a lot less interested in sports since the pandemic started, then the prevalence of social injustice in the news and all around us, the fires along with other natural disasters that point to climate change and our horrible political situation are all so much more important and take up more of my concentration and I guess interest. I realize sports are supposed to be an escape from all of that but for me they just seem so trivial right now and quite frankly in the face of everything, they seem completely unnecessary. I realize they have to survive as businesses, so I'm not necessarily mad at the leagues. The UFC and NBA are doing a much better job making sure their athletes aren't spreading the virus than boxing, MLB and NFL. College sports have no business taking place in my opinion because they're not supposed to be a for profit business that has huge overhead but it's just a money grab which makes the risks even less justified. I just am not excited to watch sports right now and I imagine many people feel the same way... and I'm a huge sports fan. I'm sure most casuals feel this way even more and that's why I'm watching the finals and they aren't.

so, meyers is starting in the NBA finals.

2020 has zero chill.

Lakers have gotten it so easy this playoffs. Playing injured team after injured team.

Just give the Lakers the trophy

Leonard just kills you in so many ways, especially on defense.

Are the people complaining about our lack of adjustments, effort, and using injuries as an excuse against the Lakers ready to jump all over Spoelstra? He was the greatest coach not too long ago.

these jump passes that miami keeps throwing are driving me insane

Just finished watching Game 2.
Only thing "OLD" out there tonight was the Old Fashion Ass Whoopin' the Heat got.
Wish this had teams more evenly matched. Denver vs Boston would have been fun.

Injuries happen! They are never an excuse... NEVER! Spo needs to adjust better. Show at least something other than desperation 3's and what is it with relying on Butler when he is being doubled? If they had some kind of motion other than trying to split the defenders they might be able to free up some other options. Spo needs to get Alexander in there and move with Vincent. Never mind they are two way players that are up from the G-league.
Real Coaches know how to use what they have.

Is that what you were looking for? Let me know if that covered it? I mean Spo has Meyers Leonard available just like the Blazers did last year in the Conference Finals. There is absolutely no excuse for them to get swept. Pretty sure Bam needs to get out there just Like Kanter did. Herro is a Rookie so he should have plenty of energy left right just like Simmons.

At some point you need to have the "Talent" to compete.

It was so good I could've sworn you cut and pasted it! :smiley-beerchug:

Ya, that point is entering training camp. It always cracks up on here when people don’t acknowledge that USUALLY, the more talented team wins. Especially when it comes to our own Blazers.
