If/when the Heat fail to reach the NBA finals next year, I expect people to call it a disappointing season for them because the new expectation is that they'll over-achieve yet again. Really enjoyed watching Miami's run this playoffs.
 
@KSF-ERIC the Lakers weren't quite as dominant as I thought after they beat us but they were by a good margin better than the rest. I appreciate your opinion and I'm glad you're bold enough to go out on a limb and express what your thinking. A lot of people just stay quiet and then comment about how they knew what would happen but you always make your point of view known in the moment.
 
All of this Lakers hate is whack. You guys are being pathetic. Sour Grapes. Lame. I'm not a Lakers fan but they aren't our rival, they're just another team. The best team won and that's the way it should be and I always like it when the team that knocked us out wins it all because that means we may have been able to handle any other team. Again the negativity in here is just so disappointing.

Obviously not otherwise no one would care if this were their first chip but it happens to be their record tying 17th so as a franchise they are the opposite of what sucks and as the current NBA champions their current team only sucks at losing.

No, they're just the best team in the history of the Western Conference and our fans hate them because of that. Rivalries have to be two ways and they don't see us as their biggest rival or probably even one of their biggest rivals historically or right now. We were rivals for just a little bit at the beginning of the 2000s but that was very short lived and it was more of a three way rivalry with us, them and the Spurs so not even a real rivalry then.
