I would be thrilled to win 4 of them and come home at 500. But I don't see how.
4 games in the east plus 1 game in LA against the Clips AND then playing OKC the next night at home?
Then 3 more games on the road. I am not even counting the 10th game which is at home on a back to back.

The Blazers need to be mentally tough to get some wins. Winning ugly might be needed a few more times in the next 2 weeks. Yes a lot of the teams are beatable, but they are all desperate for wins themselves.

Barring a big game from Giannis I think we can go 3-1 on the road trip dropping a game to IND after they get PG back and are motivated to climb past .500 and avenge that 20 point smacker we gave them. I think that Pacer game could be a rage inducer.

Bulls game could be 50-50 but I'd give us a slight advantage for revenge reasons.

The Grizz will try to stop Dame/CJ to no avail with Tony Allen and some scrubs who just let Louis Williams drop 40 points. The only person who will stop Dame in Memphis is himself, so I feel pretty good about getting a W there as well.

Yeah, good call. I went and looked at the schedule before reading the OP and overlooked the Clipper game because I saw we had OKC at home the next day. That is pretty cruddy scheduling right there. OKC has a day of rest after playing BOS at home.

I said I would be thrilled with 4-5 . (So that we are 500 after 30 games) I also said I did not see how we could come up with those 4 wins. Not after seeing the upcoming schedule.

Milwaukee will be tougher than people give then credit for. They are 10-8 now and will IMO be a playoffs team if they can get Middleton back in time for the final 4-6 weeks of season which I think was supposed to be the prognosis. Even without hik they've been playing well and they possibly have the most all-rounded young player in the league (along with Towns).

Yes. Teams are comprised of humans, not robots. Robots hit a level of performance and then are extremely consistent in their output, with little variance up or down.

Humans on the other hand, have levels of emotions and the ability to problem solve and work on faults to improve deficiencies. So yes, we have played .500 ball to start the season out after 20 games. As humans often do, I believe they have learned from these first 20 games and I expect them to play better because of it. So yes, to maintain .500 play in the face of a tougher stretch of schedule, is a very valid and reasonable expectation.

The only opponent with an above .500 record during this 10 game stretch was the Lakers, who were 8-7 at the time, but have since fallen to 10-12. Think about that - their toughest opponnet during this 10 game stretch will be the Lakers.

They are 6-3 so far during this extremely east stretch, but had to go to OT to beat both DEN and WAS. They are feasting on the dregs of the league right now. This may come back to bite them later, when their schedule evens out and they have to start playing against the teams with winning records.

Started off 3-0. Dropped the Philly game, and then bounced back in WAS. This team is capable.
