I have a bad feeling we could lose him in Summer. He's unrestricted free agent and can choose to go wherever he likes. And considering he got benched so many Times for no reason, he could choose to go to a other Team that gives him constantly good minutes..

I think that he is restricted free agent.

I'm pretty sure The Nets are going to offer a fuck ton for him.

I wouldn’t mind if he signed his QO. The three albatrosses come off the year after which would allow us to sign him to a bigger deal then.

I believe he is Restricted as well. They can still make the Qualifying offer to him or extend him. If he took the Qualifying Offer, I believe he would be an UFA next summer.

I remember there was a poster on here last year with a similar posting style. Now that I think about it, I haven’t seen him post in awhile. What if this is the same guy??
I think he sold all his homemade zurs gear and retired to Antigua.

Unless I'm reading things wrong, or there's something hinky in his contract clauses, Jake's an RFA this summer as long as Portland offers a QO.

From Coon's CBA FAQ:
Question 42 said:
Restricted free agency exists only on a limited basis...For all veteran free agents who have been in the league three or fewer seasons.
Question 48 said:
Second round picks...must be signed using cap room or an available exception (see question number 25), such as the Minimum Player Salary exception or the Mid-Level exception. It is most common for a second round pick to receive the minimum salary and be signed using the Minimum Player Salary exception. However, since the Minimum Player Salary exception limits contracts to two seasons, it is not uncommon for teams to use a portion of their Mid-Level exception in order to sign the player for three seasons. This gives the team full Bird rights at the end of the contract, and avoids the Gilbert Arenas provision

SpoTrac, for what it's worth, concurs that's he's an RFA.
