But the ranking is for the entire NBA. They are 13th in the west and there are 3 teams with better records than them in the east. So technically they are 16th in the entire NBA

Me.

I was never a fan of the Nets' collection of heaping salary hell. I understood when the Celts did it. But taking two of those pieces 5-7 years later, plus adding more of the same to the heap, never really seemed like a good idea to me.

I took this to be another example of Kidd's tactical genius. He knows that he's more likely to get fired if there's an obvious replacement waiting as an assistant coach.
