Steve Blake was always a choker in Portland. Can't believe he hit that!

What an epic shot. As much as I hate the Lakers, I must say I'm glad they beat that flopper Harden.

I always liked Blanky. He's just your average guy living the american dream.

First time ever I was rooting hard for the Lakers.

Ego check for Harden.

I almost hate to say it, but I'm happy that the Lakers won (I think I just threw up in my mouth).

I think this is why Howard and Harden won't win titles. They don't have killer instincts. There is no excuse for a crappy Lakers team, on the road, beating Houston.

I'm sure they have their share of fans who are unrealistic, just like we do.

Not saying you're right or wrong. But, its just one NBA game. I watch the Heat lose to teams like the Bobcats every year.

I don't think they'll come close with this system they are running.

It's so predictable with 90% of the time they run a Harden ISO.

Dwight has zero post game. Asik is the worst finisher when not dunking. Iirc, espn had a small article on this a few months ago.

Harden is a Steve Nash-esque defender. I didn't see that coming. He at least tried in OKC.

Howard has made a career out of not showing up in big moments. And I'm not sure Harden is nearly the superstar that Houston thinks he is.

I wouldn't take him over LeBron or Durant. And the gulf between him and those two is HUGE. To me, Harden is a lot like Carmelo Anthony. And because I know people will probably get themselves worked up over this, I'm not saying they play the same style.

Just similar level.

They seem to think they need a better PG, but that can't be further from the truth. What they need is someone to knock some sense into Howard to work on his post game and FTs (and considering it's his 10th year now, it won't happen).

The only other option is to stop having Harden pound the ball for 15-20 seconds of every possession. Take him out, and you pretty much stop them. Lin is a far more capable 1 on 1 player than they give him credit for. Give the guy the ball.

Ha! Who is that with the bear hug on Lin during the "screen"? Nash? Lin was not pleased.

the NBA sure is consistent with it's officiating.

Elite defensive awareness.

Zach Lowe had an article about the rockets a month or so ago that talked about how Parsons has a reputation as being a very good defender which in actuality he is a bad defender.

Edit - Harden did his job, he moved both his feet like 2 inches and looked confused

In 5 games Love is shooting 28% from three.

Is he trying to shoot his way out of this slump? I don't get why he's not playing bully ball when he's shooting this poorly.

Adams: 17 pts | 10 Rebs | 3 ast | 3 blks

Totally outplayed Drummond.
