I don't know why Philly would trade for Asik. That doesn't make much sense to me.
Said that rookie is a better PF or something

Noel? God that would be a horrible frontcourt. Noel and Asik.... they'd never score..... ever.
Just what David Aldridge was saying. Don't shoot the messenger!![]()
I've watched the last GSW games. Draymond Green is such an awesome player despite his mediocre stats.
So the opposite of Kevin Love?
You could almost say that. You know how the Blazers stick Batum on a PG if they start getting going? The Warriors do that with Green, and he does a great job. He plays great defense, hustles, goes for every loose ball, contests every shot, etc. etc. All the things that don't show up on a boxscore, he does.
His offensive game is mostly poop in the toilet. It comes and goes, but he's a fun player to watch because you'll notice all the little things that don't show up on a boxscore but influences the outcome of a game.
I dont have insider but:
Gregory Pietras @Handles_Messiah
Chad Ford reports the Bobcats looking to make trades to win now, considering dealing MKG: insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id
I don't think we have anything to offer for "winning right now"

I assume MJ is not going to dump him. (Yes I know it is MJ we are talking about) But I would imagine they are trying to use him to get a starter. I would love to get this guy, but he would be a bench player for us. Until he can shoot consistently he will just have to be an energy guy off the bench for most teams.
I like the idea of MKG, but he's not what we need right now. Adding him to our bench would only further take away experience. We already have Robinson and CJ, with Nards waiting in the wings. We need veteran guys like Wright and Mo. Not young guys who have no experience at all.
I actually agree with you. If you look at true contenders, they don't have a bunch of young guys. They have a nice mix of older veterans, youth and an established star or two. Having a superstar helps too!
NBAStats
KG passed 14,000rebs mark Friday. He's 1 of 3 in @NBAHistory to record 25k+ points, 14k+rebs & 5k+asts (Kareem & K.Malone).
We already have a ton of youth. Dame is young, Batum is still young, even Lopez is still young. If we were going to make a trade, it would be for some older guys who have been there before. Adding MKG would be a long term thing, and I'm not really sure we even need that. Batum is money right now.
Pistons look good tonight huh?
Scola is still one of the most annoying players in the league.
