Tonight was @KevinLove's 9th straight game w/ 25+ pts & 8+ rebs, longest single-season streak since @SHAQ's 12 straight n Mar/Apr, 2001.

Anybody else watching this 3 point Heat/Kings game in the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????

Hope Miami wins this. They will be easier to deal with coming off a victory. Otherwise, they could be in a bad mood

Can we all root for Sac tonight to really give Miami a good game? Push em to OT then let the Heat beat 'em would be best scenario.

NEVER QUESTION THE HCP FAMS!

How about Steph Curry getting his triple dub at the 10:00 mark of the 3rd tonight.

OT in Sac town. LeBron and Chalmers both committed hard fouls against Cousins in the final minute, perhaps trying to solicit a 2nd technical foul on him to get him out of the game.

It back fired. Cousins hit both shots, and Sac got the ball on the Chalmers foul.

LeBron 44 min
Bosh 35 min
Chalmers 44 min
Beasley 33 min
Cole 35 min

Sitting Wade/Allen, whether necessary or not, did not result in a Miami win. I was actually happy for Sac fans, and actually impressed with the way Cousins handled himself after the two hard fouls.

Not to take anything away from LeBron's remarkable achievement, but in all fairness to Larry Legend, Lebron had a 4 year head start. He played his first game at the age of 18 years, 303 days. Larry played his first game at 22 years, 309 days.

LeBron going 3 crazy

Jeezus, GSW just stomping the shit out of Phoenix 115 - 86 with 38 seconds left. Our coaching staff needs to seriously dissect that game film. Our roster and style is very similar to GSW, but we can't beat PHO to save our lives (well, OK that one time in Portland by one point, but still...)

The key to beating the suns is to get the ball out of dragic's hands. Since we aren't doubling, he can pick us apart.

I know this is the general strategy for stotts, but we need to adjust to beat certain teams.

I wonder if that's because GS plays a certain way. They don't have an inside game. While it may result in a blow out of a team like Phx, their over-all record versus other teams with different systems is not as successful as Portland. I'd rather struggle with Phx, and beat OKC, IND, SAS, HOU, GS, LAC, and hopefully Heat, than the opposite.

Isaiah Thomas with 22 pts 11 ast.

MIP so far - He went from a spark off the bench to one of the better young PG's in the league.

Well yeah, I'd rather beat the top teams, too. But, if we end up playing PHO in the playoffs, I'd like to think Stotts and company can come up with a more effective game plan. It would be terrible to work hard all season to secure HCA and then lose to PHO in the first round. At that point, all those wins over OKC, SAS, LAC, IND, etc. wouldn't seem as significant any more.

I didn't watch the game tonight, but from the box score Phoenix shot the ball horribly (FG% = .360, 3FG% = .174). It would be interesting to know how much of that was just an off shooting night, versus how GSW defended them. GSW just lost to Phoenix 12 days ago. Did they make any adjustments, or did PHO just have an off shooting night tonight. Were they getting open looks and just not knocking them down, or were most of their shots contested?

Doesn't matter, LeBron is head and shoulders above Bird as a player. Larry was great don't get me wrong. The game changed when kids could come in out of HS......'Bron should get that much more credit for scoring 20+ points a game against grown men in the league 4 months after graduating HS.

He won't get 6th man now though, cause he'll start the rest of the season pending injuries. Door is wide open for Mo Williams!!! Come on MO!

I don't doubt that they will. With time to sit down and look at film. I have a TON of confidence in Stotts. And who wouldn't at this point? He's the Coach of the Year at this point.

I didn't watch the game... doing laundry. But, neither Phx or GS have an inside game. It's all jump shooting and guard play. They don't have an Aldridge to go to in the post for a needed bucket.

Yeah I agree with this principle. Never doubling is as easy to pick apart as the 76ers always doubling and leaving shooters wide ass open. Its best to keep teams guessing with occasional strategic double teams from time to time. I have seen us do this at times in the second half, against Josh Smith and against Bynum our help defense was great. We seem to have more of an issue with PG's, and Phoenix has the best PG tandem in the league.

Yeah agreed. The talent in the league back then is a joke compared to the talent today. There'll be some old men that want to disagree and talk about the good old days but just look at the shooting statistics. Nobody could make open 3's back at that time, nowdays we have dozens of players routinely hitting 40% of them. The team defense back then was terrible as well.

Curry has a much better inside game than Damian. Iggy and David Lee can score inside. With a healthy Iggy and Bogut that golden state team has two defenders better than any of our starters.

David Lee is not even in the same solar system as LA on the block. Iggy and Bogut better than any Blazer starter on D? Wow. lol I can't work with you here.

David Lee can score inside, he was an all-star last year. I don't think he's close to the total player LMA is but on offense he is more efficient than most PF's in the league. Iggy is arguably the best defender in the NBA. Just because I'm a Blazer fan doesn't mean I can't acknowledge the positives of players on other teams.
