Sad. Rockets lose
Rose should play tomorrow by the way. It's not right for him to sit out.
"I was able to speak with Derrick off-camera a couple days ago, and he's telling me how badly he does want to be out there, but he says that he just doesn't have the muscle memory back, is the way he put it," sideline reporter Rachel Nichols said during the network's coverage of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Nichols also said that the lack of muscle memory is affecting the way Rose's knee feels and the way he shoots, and that until his body can react without him thinking about it, he doesn't want to be on the court and unsure of himself.
Nice to see Zach Randolph has grown up
From an article on ESPN yesterday:
Sad. Mentally crippled.
Yep. Doesn't sound like a guy who is going to play.
No heart
Maybe we have to consider Derrick Rose one of those guys who is all about the money.

or maybe he knows that if he comes back and his body isn't ready (both physically and mentally) he could injure himself much worse.

Rose had missed 5 games total his first 3 years in the league before blowing out his knee. He already has his money. Maybe he doesn't want to be grilled by Bulls' fans like Brandon Roy has been grilled by Blazers' fans for coming back too early and being a "liar"?
Rose has had an entire year off. He's probably the most healthy guy in the series. Shumpert had the same injury last year and he's back helping his team. Lillard would never sit out like this.
Anyone else get pissed off by Joey Crawford every time every time he refs one of your team's games? He thinks he's bigger than the players out there... totally killed the rhythm and flow of the game...
That was to Memphis's advantage.
Definitely... wasn't saying that... just saying that I'd rather watch a straight-up game. He makes basketball hard to watch.

Everyone saying Rose should play and he has no heart for not playing really need to go listen to interviews with Physical Therapist talking about ACL tears. Its not getting the knee back to 100% but trusting your knee again that takes the longest. Its something every athlete goes through some just take longer then others to get back to trusting the leg if they ever do.
Heck iv got a friend who tore his ACL three years ago but now walks with a subtle limp even though his knee is 100% healthy and he shouldn't have even a slight limp because he still doesn't fully trust his leg.
