Right now David Stern is having Indiana vs. Memphis finals nightmares...

Looks like it could actually be Grizzlies/Heat or Spurs/Heat. Those would be the most boring Finals matchups of my lifetime. Who would watch?

Re: Hibbert: it's disappointing that Indiana matched, but at least Olshey went after the right guy, which is reassuring. I just wonder if he could've pulled some Houston-style shenanigans and poison-pilled the contract. Probably not, because that only works on players that aren't getting at or near the max.

Clearly you're forgetting that the Spurs played the Cavs in the finals a few years back. The Spurs are the Spurs, and who would you rather watch alongside Lebron: Wade and Bosh or Mo Williams and Zydrunas Ilgauskas?

I didn't watch OKC vs Memphis game. What was up with Zbo not getting to the line at all? Where the refs not giving him any calls?

Does this show just how good Memphis is or just how overrated Rudy Gay is?

Rudy gay was the one player I thought hurt Memphis badly. He wasn't a team player and shot in volume. He takes the flow out of offense. Prince is a huge upgrade defensively and gives you another playmaking ball handler.

Gay is just a glorified outlaw.

Almost every analyst said this was a terrible move for Memphis when the deal went down. I disagreed.

Fascinating move by Memphis to hire Hollinger. The trading of Gay had his PER voodoo written all over it and he was right.

I think they would regret it more vs. a healthy OKC team. They don't really have any decent 3 point shooters to help space the court now, with the ability to drive as well.

Gay was overrated, but I think if he accepted the proper role, it would've been much more ideal for them.

Aldridge isn't a center though! Look at that height and wingspan! Incredible.

I liked the Spurs/Cavs series because I liked LeBron back then. His game 5 performance against Detroit was amazing.

Crazy that Mo freaking Williams was their second option.

He wasn't. The second option on the Cavs during their 2007 NBA Finals run was basically rookie Boobie Gibson. Other main players included Pavlovic, Drew Gooden, and of course Ilgauskas. Mo Williams didn't join the Cavs til later and he never went to the NBA Finals. That's what was amazing about the 2007 Cavs. LeBron, in four years out of high school took the worst team in the league to the NBA Finals. It sucked that they got swept though.

I really don't like the way Hollins not only uses his rotations but also the way he and Bibby continue to have confidence in our backup guards jacking up outside shots. Reasons #123 and #124 that Lionel Hollins is rightfully unsigned through next season...

The saving grace for our team has always been the inside play. Not even just Gasol and Randolph, but Arthur is a also a guy who could start for most teams in the league and just happens to be behind the most stacked frontcourt in the league. Somehow Bayless still got 13 shots off tonight though.

I understand that situations can skew statistics, but really, the situations skewed our bigs' statistics the most today. Z-Bo didn't have too many post-up opportunities in this game, and a lot of times he or Marc would repost, but Conley would either force the issue himself or swing it out to Bayless/Pondexter/Dooling.

Any fan who has watched this team throughout the season, much less the team's own coach, should recognize that the team is taking too many perimeter shots and should work more inside-out than they did this game. Our inside play mostly came in a bail-out fashion, except in the third when the team finally decided to go to Gasol as a primary weapon. I don't get why every play doesn't run through him. I've been saying it all season long, he's a point-center, and if the ball touches his hands, it'll wind up in a scoring opportunity more times than not.

.

Yeah I was a little puzzled why Bayless was in there at all in the last 5 minutes.

That Radio Shack commercial, with the women holding those dildos, is quite odd.

He hasn't shot well, but rookie Harrison Barnes is the game high scorer right now. Go Warriors!

Why aren't Chicago and Miami playing tonight? That's just dumb. Was it because of the NHL playoffs and a potential conflict? They played Friday night, and then nothing until Monday? Come on NBA...

Barnes ISO after Barnes ISO ... and he's 8-23 from the field. He's killing GS right now.

His teammates are giving him the ball because he has a mismatch everytime up the floor. It's Jackson's call and obviously exactly what SA wants.

Barnes looks nice today! Lillard is the better player, but Barnes may end up being the 3rd-best player in that draft behind Davis and Lilz.

Is he killing them or does he look nice? And yes, he's the third best player in that draft.
