Gotta side with Speed, here. We were having fun during the Indy game. King even lost his one team left in the playoffs, but I did think he "LeBron Dick" comments were too much.

You're better than that, E. You know that was trolling, but the reaction by a few posters here about it is much, much worse.

The tone of voice was unclear. But thanks.

huevon is long time LeBron fan, no doubt. the constantly suck his dick comment was a joke. Them you made assumptions about my sex life. But it's all good.

True. Huevon was a Kobe fan at once too, right? It takes a rare poster to follow a player, and not a team.

Jordan's worst rated Finals (Portland) was higher rated than the last 14

In fact Jordan's worst Finals (Portland) was rated higher than any non-Jordan NBA Finals ever. The 6 highest rated Finals of all time were the six that Jordan played in.

Maybe you should start.

Nah, I'll pass. I don't need a crutch like apparently you do.

But thanks for showing concern.

I thought he was a Laker fan when Kobe was his favorite player? Is my memory that shitty these days?

You are correct. Huevon used to follow the Lakers and love Kobe. now he loves Lebron and hates Kobe. Pretty funny.

All I know is that Huevon has consistently fought Laker fans to say that LeBron is better than Kobe something no true Kobe fan would ever admit to.

Went to the Pacers-Knicks game last night. Wow. That crowd usually sucks in comparison to the RG, but it was LOUD last night. And the whole arena was standing for the entire fourth quarter. We need that kind of intensity in PDX.

helps to make the playoffs more than 3 times in 11 years. ;)

Sigh our last playoff series win was the one before the WCF in 00.

I wish we could have gotten a series win out of Roy. Those were fun teams to root for and I would have liked to see him try to make a run.

Edit: Also winning game 7 in Dallas after going down 0-3... that would have been legit.

All the other teams in the West have won a playoff series since our last one in 2000

The only other team that hasn't won a series since 00 is CHA. And they were born in 04.

Well, Portland either goes big or goes home.

and when they go home, they go home a lot.

Late to the convo but while Miami isn't a big city, Dade County is is the most populous county in the state and 7th most populous in the country. The Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metropolitan area is the 8th most populous in the country.

Spurs playing their game so far against the Grizz. Getting lots of good looks from 3. GS ability to play one on one against Duncan and Parker really helped quell the Spurs 3 pt attack.

Triple post...

So is the NBA trending back toward the importance of size and good play at the 5 spot? You've got Duncan, Gasol, Bosh, and Hibbert left and Bogut, Chandler, Noah, and Perkins just got eliminated. Its not exactly like the old days of Shaq, Hakeem, the Admiral, Mourning, Ewing, Divac, Sabonis, etc. but you've gotta have an anchor in there who can at least control the paint on defense.

Miami still the favorite with Bosh at the 5, but I consider them an exception to the rule because they've got so much elite talent. You can't build a team that way, its gotta happen through collusion, and the NBA is making it harder to build that way.

Just listening to the game not watching it but the grizz seem lost defensively

None of their perimeter players can keep Parker or Ginobili in front of them. Their defense collapses and then its corner 3's for Kawhi and Green and good looks all over from Bonner (who's played a ton so far) and Joseph.
