He's also one of the best shotblockers in the league, and don't ya'll need a defensive center?

For as dumb as they make him look on TNT with Shaqtin a Fool, he's not really that bad most of the time.

There's a reason he gets less than 20 minutes a night and its NOT Koaster Doufas.

I was just noticing that there's only one series at 2-2 right now (LAC/MEM), although IND/ATL still has their game four tomorrow.

Is there any series this year where ya'll think a team can overcome a 3 loss deficit? We've got OKC up 3-0 but without Westbrook, Chicago up 3-1 over Brooklyn, and now Golden State up 3-1 over Denver.

Going with the theme of this thread, do any of ya'll see those series turning around, or are ya'll already penciling every team up in their series outside of the LAC/MEM and IND/ATL series' into the next round?

I think IND beats the pacers 4-1, it took a horrible shooting night from the pacers to give the Hawks the first game were they looked even remotely competent. Houston/OKC has a chance to go to 7 but I just don't trust OKC without Westbrook, Durant is going to have a game in one of the next 4 were he just goes off and scores 50+ and that will sink Houston the question is just when is it going to be G4/G5/G6/G7?. GSW just has Denvers number i'll be surprised if Denver wins another game since they can't figure out how to cool down GSW shooting. If any team can overcome the 3-1 deficient its hands down Brooklyn. Chicago has played great and I think they are the better overall team when talking about consistency and bringing it every night but the talent on Brooklyn is really insane. Brooklyn has stretches of games were they look better then the heat and are completely dominant then they can go out the next night after a dominant performance and make you think they are a lottery team. Brooklyn has the two best players in the series (Williams/Lopez) but they both have to step it up and try and carry this team that has had very iffy performances from everyone and has been starting 2 offensive liability's in Wallace/Evans. I'd like to see one of those two start on the bench and bring in Brooks to the starting lineup and see if having more firepower can swing the series.

Not that it matters at this point in the game, but that technical on Anthony Randolph was one of the most bullshit technicals I've seen.

I nominate Randolph as the most victimized player in the league by the refs. Every time I see him play, I find myself thinking "that was pretty dubious" after he (inevitably) gets called for a foul. There must be something about him that referees just loathe. He has got a pretty sulky face, I guess.

I also nominate Stephen Curry as "most cossetted by the refs", at least in this series. It's his baby face, I suppose. I'm starting to dislike him for it, though.

I'm a homer but I haven't seen the refs give him much favoritism at all. And hes the best player in his series. Lawson and Miller are getting at least as many calls from the refs if not more, but overall I don't think the refs have been favoring one side or the other.

I think the experts are patiently waiting on their Nuggets to decide to start playing:

You're not seeing it cause you're a homer. Curry has been coddled by the refs.

Its the NBA and its just how it is and I dont see it changing. So my hope is that Lillard get to that status so I can smile and shrug my shoulders and think quietly, "its about damn time"

Gerald Wallace hits a three, steals the ball, and dunks to seal the must win.

This is the best thing to happen for us. Hopefully Denver loses the series. They have so many potential players we would love to have.

The worst series out there is gonna go 7. Just watch. I'm gonna get tix to game 7 in Indy for $5 again and it wont be sold out.

I don't doubt it, the Pacers just can't win in ATL.

Dang, we actually have some series, folks!! :)

From watching the series I'v been feeling that the refs have been pretty fair but I thought the Nuggets were actually benefiting a little more then GSW. I took a look at Curry/Lawson/Miller from the 4 games and looked at how many FTA and how many fouls each.
Curry: 15FTA 14 PF
Lawson: 19 FTA 8 PF
Miller: 22 FTA 6 PF
Doesn't seem that strange with how Lawson/Miller attack the rim more and how Curry is primarily a jump shooter but Curry has as many fouls as Lawson/Miller combined, just shows that Curry is getting most of his Points from jumpshot and not gifts from the refs.

Ever since that first burst of emotion by the Thunder in Game 3, the Rockets have fully dominated them.

Shouldn't a team that has "dominated" them have, oooh, i don't know....a victory in the series?

btw, not that I expect it to happen, but I think having the Thunder be the first NBA team to lose a 3-0 lead (and being the #1 seed to boot) would really make me giddy.

Fisher couldn't guard Brooks in 2009. He can't guard him now.

Fuckin Derek Fisher. As if I needed another reason to hate this team. Can't stand this guy.

Chandler Parsons is another SF that has emerged this season

Batum needs to get his shit together

Is it just me or did the clock just stop running there for about ten seconds down the stretch?

Jackson got hammered by Asik on that last shot. Should have been a foul, because Asik was moving.
