Going to have a really strong bench this season. Other than Dame, no starters job is safe.

Is it a strong bench, or a weak starting 5?

Yes. The reality is that it will be very different toward the end of the season than it will be at the beginning. Eventually some of the players will exceed expectations and will mostly be the starters. The bench players will still be decent though and remain that way or improve too.

I still think Harkless will be the early surprise.

sort of a coin toss...any of 12 players could be starters or bench players pretty much but our bench is sold either way..Starters probably get overwhelmed by good starting lineups but I think our bench of say..CJ Crabbe Harkless Vonleh and Davis is going to be pretty good

Solid.... and dysfunctional.... lineup.

They still don't have a go-to-guy though. Paul is an amazing player, but he's not a go-to-guy. Blake Griffin is a more athletic version of LMA.
Paul is one of the best go to guys in the league. Do you watch them play? He takes over at the end of games. He hit the series winning shot in the first round vs the Spurs.

You can if you want. I personally think it's a bit odd.

If someone tells you they are unhappy and want to leave for two years, I'm not sure how you can be bitter towards them when they do.
He said he wanted to sign a 5 year contract with us and become the best Blazer ever. And he probably would've stayed if Wes didn't get hurt.

I like swagger from a fanbase..I hope we sweep the Spurs and Meyers runs LA out of the gym
The refs will run Meyers out of the gym the first time they match up. Book it.

Yes, but in the long run.... LA will retire before Meyers.

Nope. Not why he wanted out. He was leaving, and people here said it for two years. Most didnt want to listen.

He sAid he was signing with us. If Wes didn't get hurt, we would've gone further in playoffs and he would've stayed. Olshey is smart. If Aldridge was definitely leaving, he would've traded him.

Anything of note from these interviews? I missed em yesterday. Debating whether they're worth listening to or if they're just cliches and muscle talk as usual

I know he said that. It's just not what was ever going to happen. He always felt unappreciated here by management. When that never changed, he was gone

He is gone so at this point, it doesn't matter any more

Which is ridiculous, considering the team was completely built around him, based on his desires ("I won't play center, I need a big body next to me") and his skill-set ("I love to shoot mid-range jump shots"). If he felt unappreciated by management, it's only because he chose to see it that way. And for me, that's his biggest crime against the franchise. He was catered to in every way over the span of the past two years, and it still wasn't good enough for him.

QFT.

And, he flat QUIT on us in the playoffs.

I wouldn't go that far. As has been pointed out by others, his defense on Zach kind of suggests otherwise.
