Why would we hate Lebron? Just because he is on the Lakers?

I don't hate Lebron at all.

I respect what he’s done on and off the court and he’s to me the third or fourth best player of all time, but Ive never really cheered for him either, because I pretty much cheer on Blazers and thats about it, with a few exceptions.

You think either LA franchise would offer him a max deal while he recovers from his ACL injury? I don't.

I'd have thought GSW would try to sign him to a discounted deal similarly to how they did with Steph when he had all his ankle problems. Not my money though. :dunno:

Lebron is toxic. Perpetuates the easy way out aka super teams, like seriously, imagine Larry Bird teaming up with Magic in the 80s, what a joke. Pseudo leader; throws teammates under the bus the minute the ship goes off course, flops all over the court, which is whatever in itself, but then incessantly whines about it. I can’t wait until he’s gone. The league will be better without him and his influence. His only saving grace is the work he does in the community.

Absolutely.

I like him a lot off the court.
I respect him a lot on the court.
I rooted for him in Cleveland
I rooted against him in Miami (mainly because I could not stand Wade)
I hate the Lakers

Why should I like him because he is great. I love the underdog!. I hated Jordan, Magic, and Bird as well...while they were playing. I still respected all of them.

I think it's his ego that drags him down. Jordan seemed to dominate in a way that you respected his game and him.

Between "The Decision" and ring chasing to the Heat, then going to the hated L@kers, you alienate a lot of people for different reasons.

It takes 6-9 months for an ACL injury to heal. So as early as November or as late as March.

You can fully recover from an ACL. No one can offer him more than GSW so he should take the deal. It's been hinted as much though:

Oh, no doubt he should take the deal. Absolutely. Just saying that I didn't really think he'd get a max offer. Obviously I was wrong on that.

We briefly touched upon this subject while at @Orion Bailey draft party.

I was also a huge Pippen fan. I attempted to emulate his defensive style (along with Hakeem) while I played basketball during the 80s and 90s as a youngster. I don't think I can play defense like that now without being called for a foul several times a game and potentially fouling out. Haha

Interesting. I tried to emulate Dennis Rodman's defense. Trying to get into my opponents head and all.
