Also, I’ve never seen somebody slapped hard across the arms and their legs BOTH leave the ground like that. CC must be hitting the gym in the offseason.

That was what i was talking about. Yes it shows it at first but then picks up only the foul called.

That to me didn't really look like much of a Flagrant foul. I guess maybe there was more going on during the game to get that riled up over it? Obviously the lady that committed the foul was trying to stop an easy dunk (Wait. They are women so no dunk). The lady that got fouled had just pushed the other player in the back to get that rebound (No Foul).
Again I didn't watch the game so there had to be more to this.

Looked like a box out to me. From the side, more than from the back.

There was a shove from Clark as Reese was falling. The refs reviewed it from multiple angles and determined it was excessive.

I have no problem with the box out (it could have been called a foul and I'd be good with it as well), no problem with the intentional foul, and no problem with the flagrant call for the clearly excessive energy on the intentional foul.

Clark and Reese clearly don't like one another. I think that's awesome for the WNBA.

I am sure there is some of that, but CC has grown ass men watching her. Why, because she is great. The men like to wonder if she could compete with the men. But, they know she is savvy and an assassin out there. She can take physical contact and dish it as well. She knows all of the little tricks to get into her opponents heads. Reese, unfortunately takes the bait. She is the typical can dish it out but can't take it back person. There is nothing fragile about CC, she is very physical. And I do not view Reese as a mean black woman. I honestly just see her as weak of mind that just happens to be what, 6'3? I doubt she even really likes the game. If CC was 6'3 she would not be missing the layup gimme's that Reese routinely bricks. Reese needs to get her head right and accept that she is not CC and never will be. The jealousy and narcissism is just oozing from every pore. I am confident she is a great young woman in other aspects of her life. She has varied interests and tries many different experiences. I hope she is just trying to be the female Rodman, trying to be a show and really has her stuff together. Goofing on all of us. That would be even better.
 
I'm already getting tired of hearing about Caitlyn Clark. Does the WNBA not have any other story to write about? On this page there is one post about something other than Clark. It's exactly the same thing we are seeing in the media.

Leagues push stars. Media writes bout stars. Why do I see Lebron's opinion about things during the playoffs after his team got eliminated? Maybe the WNBA is just learning from the parent company that pushing stars is a good way to actually build their brand. And it's working.

I agree. It drives me crazy that Lebron can fart and it's a top headline on ESPN.com.

She literally is the only reason I and my family watch the WNBA. Plain and simple. When she checks out of the game, we fast forward til she checks back in. No shame in it either, HA!
THAT is the exact reason the WNBA had a 170% bump in viewership last season and the NCAA Women’s basketball went to shit.
 
Actually, although NCAA women's viewership down from previous year, still second highest ever.

There are plenty of others to watch. The loaded Liberty. Paige Bueckers debut. Brittney Griner has a new team. Expansion team in San Francisco. Strong Western conference with Las Vegas, Minnesota, Seattle.

Honestly no knocking Caitlyn Clark at all. The lady can play no question.
I hope she instills another generation of ladies to ba as good. Probably the only way to do that is to have her the biggest headline.
I have a 3 year old girl I’m raising as a daughter and maybe she will enjoy playing and watching some day.

This is exactly what's going on. And when people say they don't care or that it's going too far they are labeled "haters".

Most people are sheep and they want to follow the pack. They don't like different things unless they think everyone else likes it.

So that's where the money is.

You think it would be close until you actually watch an elite man play against an elite woman. It's not close. The difference in strength and athleticism is just far too much to deal with.

She might beat him in a shooting contest though. She would probably even be favored.

I was making fun of the asshat on here who claims everyday we should have drafter everybody else BUT Scoot. Of course she couldn’t hang with these guys.
