Great. Two teams shoved down my throat growing up in Portland are playing one another. I hope for a body bag game.

Do what I do. Root for a catastrophic sewage backup in the players' parking garage.

That's usually how it is. I mean, would you expect the NY teams to be shoved down your throat while living in the Portland Area? Or would you expect the two closest teams to be shoved down your throat?

Do they shove the Dodgers down your throat in Denver? Or the Dallas Cowboys? No, it's the local teams. I mean, come on, maxie, you're a bright dude. Don't act like it's surprising they were shoved upon you.

Gonna be a good one. Really excited. I think the Niners/Seahawks is one of the best rivalries in football. I think they match up well, but I'm more fearful of the Hawks in Seattle than in SF.

I just hope Avril, Browner, and maybe Clemons can play. We're gonna need them.

I also hope the run blocking improves because Lynch was bottled up last week, but hey you know what they say; the biggest improvement comes from week 1 to week 2.

I think Clemons is out, but not positive on that. He just returned to practice. I think they will take it easy on him and not push him back into a game situation too early.

Also, the sniping on twitter is kind of funny. It's probably the biggest Week 2 Regular Season game I can think of in recent memory. It is the Home Opener for the Hawks, division rival, both teams hoping for Superbowl this year, one of those teams being in the Superbowl last year,... it should be a good one.

Considering these two teams, along with Denver, are pretty much the consensus top-3 teams in the NFL, a pretty big rivalry happens with 2 of the top 3 in the same division. Like you, I'm more fearful of Seattle in Seattle than in SF. Seattle is much tougher at home.

The noise in Seattle paired with our shaky execution at times last week is somewhat concerning. I'm really hoping they clean up their formations because they had way too many false starts and they ran down the play clock to almost nothing more than I would like to see.

Well the noise is only going to get worse... They're shooting for a record up their this Sunday.

From what I saw from the 49ers-Packers game last week was a lot of 1-2 second left on the clock snaps but that may have just been the 49ers trying to get the Packers to bite idk. It's going to be a battle and honestly I have no clue who comes out on top. The 'Hawks looked shaky last week but 10 AM start and the Panther front 7 was vicious so idk what to take away. The Niners looked good but the secondary is pretty meh like I thought.

Has anybody seen what the ticket prices are for the game Sunday night? They are CRAZY!

Watching the game at a sports bar would be pretty fun since both the Niners and Hawks have a lot of fans here in PDX. It would be a fun atmosphere.

McGillacuddy's on Halsey is a decent place to watch a game. All you can eat breakfast buffet for $6.00 too.

They just didn't look polished against the Pack. Obviously they won, and Kap threw for a ton of yards, but there was some definite confusion with all the weird sets they were running and motions and such. I'm hoping they are less shaky this week. The crowd in Seattle would just eat it up.

The Seattle Seahawks have a message for fans: think twice before picking a fight with any spectator who might be wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey Sunday night.
For the latest meeting in the increasingly heated NFC West rivalry, the Seahawks will place undercover officers wearing 49ers gear around CenturyLink Field during the nationally televised, prime-time game. It’s a policy that won’t end with the game, either. The Seahawks plan to continue it in an effort to crack down on unruly behavior.

“We have great fans,” Seahawks President Peter McLoughlin said in a statement released by the team. “Our goal is to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance, including visiting team fans.”
Fans who pick on the wrong person and are booted from the stadium will have to complete a four-hour online course and pay $75 to be allowed to return. Truly egregious behavior can result in the revocation of season tickets.

I will be watching from the comfort home, in som my big-ass comfy chairs on a 9' projection screen in surround sound. Much cheaper and more comfortable than a bar, but I still get the thunder and excitement from the stadium.

Even though I'm not a fan of either team, as a football game, it doesn't get much better. Both teams have terrific defenses and fun quarterbacks to watch.

As much fun as it would be to be a Seattle cop assigned to the Seahawk game, it would suck for them to have to wear a Niner jersey and pretend to root for the other team.

Not as much as it would suck to be "allegedly" be in your right frame of mind and be a Hawks fan!

That would make for a fun game... which Niner fan is a cop? I bet I could spot em.

I would probably get arrested.

Yeah, the best way to find out would be to walk up behind them and put your finger into their back. If they shoot you, they're a cop..... or possibly one of HCP's relatives.

Or the head of their local neighborhood watch...
