damn it, don't make me retract my last post!I am surprised the super bowl loss left such a hangover but I still see them making a run at the playoffs. Probably finish 10-6.

Eh, it's whatever to me. It just symbolizes team pride imo. I'm not gonna go buy a jersey with a 12 and fan as the number/name but I'm not gonna criticize someone else for doing it.But there's people in Portland with "12" shit all over the place. I'm sure a lot of them have never been to a game. It's trendy bullshit. Every team does the "6th man" or "12th man" garbage. It's just that you guys ran with it to the point of over saturation.

Honestly the 12s thing is like the 49ers annual "quest for six" stuff to me. Just a fan thing.
I can't even stomach Jed York and I hate the 49ers... I should love him for ruining you... But I miss competing against a good 49ers team, I want the hate to feel right lolThe Quest for Six thing is a little pathetic at this point.
I'm so pissed at fucking Jed York that I can't even stomach the team right now.
C'mon...you guys gotta realize that this isn't abnormal. Think about it in terms of the geographic northwest.
Most of the country - despite the seahawks' recent success - thinks the pacific northwest is some kind of space ship crash-landed in the woods. It's true they haven't traditionally been good, but so what?...
Every team is bound to eventually go through at least a semi-successful phase or better. Just the law of averages. As a result, some fans will do what they will even if it's annoying to others.
Personally, I'm aware that the whole "12th man" thing originated in Austin, TX (iirc)...not Seattle. There are still plenty of seahawks fans who've been there from day 1. I can attest to this, having grown up in Pierce and King county. I went to my first seahawks game in December 1991.
It's easy to say that they just recently garnered fans, but what about Blazers fans who might not have been on board until recently? Are you gonna reject them just bc of recent success?
So why aren't you on the Warriors' forum? Also, what did Seattle ever do to you?No thanks on the pacific Nw thing.
Seattle blows you fruity kisses...Fuck Seattle.
sent from a phone you've probably never heard of

Then I am your sworn enemy. If we ever meet in person, I will erase you from the face of the Earth. The only trace you leave here will be faint memories of green and gold eliminating your precious black and scarlett red from distant memories everlasting...Portland and Seattle have had a rivalry going back to the founding of the two cities. We hate the Huskies and we hated the Sonics, so I honestly have no idea how people from Portland can root for that team. It goes against everything I was raised to believe as an Oregonian. They are our rivals.
I personally apologize for those drunken fucks...It's true. Seattle sucks. I hate them. I never want to see those assholes win. But it's also engrained in us to hate California. But it's different imo. I hate all Californians, but I don't really care about hating their teams (I'm a raiders fan afterall). But I hate the huskies, I hate the Sonics (loved Payton though cause osu), Seahawks, mariners etc.
For fucks sake, I was a 7 year old at a raiders seahawks game and drunken asshole seahawk fans were talking shit to me

BTW...I'm a sonics-to-blazers convert and I would like to keep supporting the 'zers. Is that ok with you?
I visit Seattle often. My college roommate lives in Renton. I have a group of buddies there. When we go out at night ans meet other people and I say I'm from Portland they all are a bunch of aholes and immediately snicker, say Portland sucks and go into big brother mode. When I ask people from Seattle if they root for the blazers now, I get an overwhelming amount of nos.So why aren't you on the Warriors' forum? Also, what did Seattle ever do to you?
I've never understood the Portland-Seattle rivalry
you have to be nuts to believe Portland can even hold Seattle's jock as a city.
I enjoy spending time in Seattle far more than Portland.
Fizzle, I'm honestly sorry that you've had that experience near Seattle. Seriously, if you'd have hung with me and my bros In Tacoma and Renton, it'd be the exact opposite. I lived near Portland for a couple years (Salem) and ya know what? I like Portland just as much - if not more than - Seattle. Maybe it's bc I'm more of a small-town guy, but whatever. I say fuck small-minded idiots who think they live in a bubble; all my friends are of the same thread.I visit Seattle often. My college roommate lives in Renton. I have a group of buddies there. They are a bunch of douchebags that can choke on a fat bag of dicks.
Gotcha bro!I've never understood the Portland-Seattle rivalry (but I'm young and growing up the Sonics sucked and we sucked more), you have to be nuts to believe Portland can even hold Seattle's jock as a city. Just a lot more to do up there, both are filled with asshole citizens but I enjoy spending time in Seattle far more than Portland.
Also PNW teams for life (besides the rivalries because fuck the Huskies and Beavers...)... California anything can go sink into the ocean as far as I'm concerned. FUCK THAT STATE.
I'm getting tired of the raiders bandwagon fans coming back out of nowhere now that they are playing well again. So annoying.
I got a 12 flag hanging on my flagpole. To me it is a symbol about community supporting the team. I loved seeing all those 12 flags in Santa Clara on Thursday. The more you hate the Seahawks/12s/Seattle, the happier I feel.
