has any player ever gotten injured during the All Star Game?

You mean like Wade breaking Kobe's nose?

No, that would never happen.

I remember, back when they had the Old Timers game, a player got hurt.

But I can't remember which player. I want to say Norm Nixon (I always get him and Marquis Johnson mixed up in my head..not sure why, they didn't look anything alike)

this has the ear-marks of another low minute all star game by a Blazer player.

2nd lowest of all players (only Lopez has fewer minutes).

Wow this about sums up where LA is As far as other allstars. Lee is getting more notable minutes.

With all those great players out there LA is invisible imo.

yeah, he's such a typical bench scrub.

I HATE watching Westbrook in these type of games because he NEVER looks to pass.

thats the bad thing about these games, for players like LaMarcus. He doesn't create for himself or look for himself like the wings and PG's can and do.

well, LaMarcus is out, so Im changing it

LA is playing hard on D and getting decent position on O but he really isn't getting the ball at all so of course he isn't having an impact on the offensive end.

That's it. No points from our All Star. What a joke. No one passed to the guy.

Lets hear the positive spin on this pitiful showing.

Thank god we have lillard cause this was embarrassing

That's cause LA is a 3rd to fourth tier star player. More of a robin or batgirl.

amazing how you only showed up after the game today, but not a peep after the skills challenge.

but whatever, ask for something that wasn't going to happen.

yeah, a 4th tier player.

and I guess that means that...wait, why am I bothering trying to carry on an adult conversation with you.

LMA literally only touched the ball 4 times in the offense in 11 minutes. he did nothing embarrassing.

lol, yea lets take a look at the allstar game and judge LA based on the fact he got the ball, what 3 times total and he missed two shots and has an assist. Its stupid to judge a player based on an allstar game or rookie sophmore game because they aren't a real basketball game.

Just when I think I've read the stupidest post ever on this board, somebody goes and finds something dumber to write. Congrats.

It was LaMarcus' job to make friends with Westbrook before the game. You gotta make them want to give you the ball.

Because he has bad hands, Aldridge can't dribble to create his own shot. At this level, he's a boy among men.

Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, and LaMarcus Aldridge were the only players to grab 4 rebounds, dish out an assist, and block two shots.

Way to go, LaMarcus!

I wonder how different it would be for LMA if he was one the floor at the same time as CP3. Majority of the time (if not all) was Westbrook running the point

That's what I was thinking as well. With Westbrook ball-hogging the point, the only way LMA could have increased his scoring attempts would be to steal the ball from his own teammates.

The best part of the All-Star game was when Joakim Noah elbowed Chris Paul's floppin ass... just sayin.
