lakers will likely be eliminated after tonight, but if not, it's a matter of time.

Is it just me?It sure seems like the Blazers play a lot of teams missing important players.... @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsTheHCP
You know what, as much as I hate the Lakers I actually would love to see this scenario play out and yes I know it won't happen.
Ideal situation is that the lakers finish with the best record out of the non playoff teams and they get the 14th pick.
Zion will be a Laker next season!Ideal situation is that the lakers finish with the best record out of the non playoff teams and they get the 14th pick.
Zion will be a Laker next season!
And KD, Boogie, Kyrie, Klay and Jake Layman!Blasphemy!
Zion will feast on Lakers next season!

I guarantee he won't be. The Lakers would trade the pick if they jumped up.Zion will be a Laker next season!
What, you think he actually helps teams win?the number of players on lottery teams being "shut down fro the rest of the season" is a rapidly growing list. Latest is Tim Hardaway Jr
a last effort by Dallas to keep their 1-5 protected pick this year?
The difference was the name on the Jersey.I just saw that Marcus Smart got a $50K fine for shoving Embiid the other day. Can anyone explain to me what makes that incident any worse than when Westbrook blatantly blind-side shoulder-checked Nurkic a couple weeks back? I don't recall him being ejected or fined for that.
Ahhh--unlike Marcus, everyone already knew that Westbrook was not smart, so his idiocy was excusable? Makes sense. The difference was the name on the Jersey.
Okc loses all of their remaining games and Lakers win all but the last game.Ideal situation is that the lakers finish with the best record out of the non playoff teams and they get the 14th pick.

The NBA showing consistency in something? Not likely to happen lol.How does this not qualify for blatant tanking?
OKC losing, what the hell happened to them?
