Wow...the celts need to re-engineer a few things, so their deemed already (by some in here) best coach in the assoc. doesn't have it so hard.

Who on earth would want to coach Lebron in this Lakers environment? Seems like Kidd does. He will be a disaster. No chance he will be viewed as better than Walton

To some extent this is Stevens’ fault. However, from what I’ve seen, there are too many quality players requiring minutes. Rozier, Brown and Hayward are all on the bench when they’ve each played a bigger role in the last two seasons due to injuries. Ainge needs to do a consolidation trade in the worst way which is why the rumours of trading for Davis make so much sense.

If the Blazers get bounced in the first round, I would definitely consider a McCollum & (name your $10M player) for Jaylen Brown & Gordon Hayward. Personally, I think that helps both teams.

I think it’s more than that. They’re developing bad habits. People said 2011 Lakers didn’t care about regular season when they were going for three peat and they ended up getting swept in 2nd round.
Prime KD, Steph, Klay, Draymond, Cousins >>>> Aging Kobe. Gasol, Odom, and prince Bynum.

Canyon believe I have to point that put. The 2011 Lakers dont caonpare to them at all.

You say this type of stuff every year and then they win. This time is no different.

I want them so badly to get no. 1 and Zion.

Maybe a shot at someone like Reddish at 6/7 where Dallas pick lands.

Imagine Trae, Zion, Collins and Reddish with complimentary pieces like Prince, Huerter, Bembry. So fun!
Thatd be an entertaining team, but Reddish wont fall that far.

Paul George's 3pt shot has come crashing back to earth after the all star break. He was shooting 44% on 9 attempts a game in Jan. Down to 33% on 10 attempts after the break. Direct correlation with their record in that same period. He's hurt apparently -- wonder if they're really that bad of a matchup for us in the first round?

Everyone is aging. KD is 30. Kobe was 32. Both teams were coming off back to back championships. Lakers had the greatest coach ever and he had threepeated three times before. Also you forget to mention Derek Fisher. Everyone considered the 2011 Lakers favorites to win championship even though they were playing badly at end of season. People said they were bored and would flip the switch. They absolutely compare to Warriors.

He's been horrible since the shoulder injury.

No surprise that Harden got PotW this week, but noticed this little tidbit in the press release.
The Rockets were 3-1 for the week, with Harden averaging 44.3 points while shooting 50.0% from the floor, 52.8% from 3-point range and 90.7% from the line. He scored a total of 177 points in 145 minutes of play for the week and is close to averaging a point per minute played this season (2,545 points in 2,604 minutes played). Since minutes were tracked in 1951-52, Wilt Chamberlain (1961-62) is the only player to have played more than 50 minutes in a season while averaging a point per minute.

I know everyone hates Harden and the Rockets, but I'm kind of rooting for him to accomplish that feat. He's basically 60 points shy of having a point-per-minute for the season. With 8 games remaining, and assuming he continues to average 36.5 mpg, he'd need to score 352 points in 292 minutes, or basically average 44 ppg the rest of the way. Not likely, but it'd be pretty cool to see.

Booooooooo!

It's a sliver better BUT we want them to lose every game and I don't want Harden to get any sort of scoring record.
You just hate him for his beard. You're an anti-Beardite!!

believe it or not:

"Pogonophobia - the irrational, persistent and often unwarranted fear of beards. The word is derived from Greek pogon (beard) and phobos (fear). Mothers often warn their daughters to “never trust a man with beard or facial hair unless he is Santa Claus”. In the United States, there has not been a president with a beard since the 1800s. The fear of beard or facial hair on other people can cause a great deal of anxiety to a Pogonophobic. This can severely affect his/her health and mental wellbeing."

I can see the signs in the Moda right now!
