I hope they beat Denver and RocketsKeep in mind we might have to start rooting for the Lakers to win some games. Yes lose tonight to the clippers so the playoffs become out of reach, but another 2 losses and they move down real quick towards the Zion sweepstakes.
Oh, of course not. And Paul George isn't re-signing with OKC.Durant ain't joining the Fakers.
Lakers have a 1% chance at Zion and a 0% chance at KD.Two sides to look at this...... Lakers are 4.5 games behind the 8th seeded Spurs

Because he is paid to. This is a job and they are pros. After trying to trade his whole Roster (to satisfy LeBron) ... Magic Johnson was expecting these guys to give their all to the Lakers uniform ... lol Why should guys like Kuzma play hard for LeBron?
So... I had thought I had heard something about the Clippers could eliminate the Lakers from playoff contention when they play.(didn't hear when the game is)
Is this true or was I hearing things?

You do a good job of pretending to be a delusional Laker fan.
There was a probability predictor done that said they had something like a 9% chance of making the playoffs before last night's loss. That loss pushed them down to < 5% I believe. They won't be mathematically eliminated for a few more games but the likelihood is getting extremely small.
Hes paid to simply be on the roster.Because he is paid to. This is a job and they are pros.
Honestly, not that it has any chance of happening but I think a LeBron, Durant, Zion combo wouldn't be that great anyway. They all pretty much play the same position and probably couldn't all 3 be on the court effectively at the same time.Lakers have a 1% chance at Zion and a 0% chance at KD.

Lebron could just go straight PG, and have KD and Zion play the forward spots. Absolutely feasible.Honestly, not that it has any chance of happening but I think a LeBron, Durant, Zion combo wouldn't be that great anyway. Lebron's getting too old to play PG for a whole game. His defense has fallen off big time this year too. I mean I understand why Laker fans would get excited about that but I just think they'd have trouble maximizing all 3 of their abilities.Lebron could just go straight PG, and have KD and Zion play the forward spots. Absolutely feasible.
Even if they lose all games until the end of season they will not have better than 7th best odds to be no. 1 which will be like 7.5% chance.
They won't be worse than Phoenix, Cleveland, New York, Chicago, Atlanta or Memphis.
Probably will not be worse than Dallas, Washington or New Orleans either, I think they will end with 5-6 more wins and be like 36-46.
I guess you could look at it that way, but I think it is expected (and rightfully so) that players give full effort. Trades are part of the business and a reality.Hes paid to simply be on the roster.
Until hes not.
Return of the frozen envelope?
For you conspiracy theorists...I think it is VERY likely Zion ends up in New York, Chicago or LA. Call me crazy....but I'm looking for some kind of prop bet that allows me to put money on those large market teams. #DavidStern
For you conspiracy theorists...
This will be the Lakers 6th year in a row not making the playoffs. Of the previous 5 lotteries their pick hasn't been #1.
Since the "Frozen Envelope" in 1985 the Knicks have been in the lottery 15 times since and the highest pick they've gotten is #4.
But yeah, those other years don't count right?
I know, eventually though a team like the Lakers is going to get the #1 pick again and everyone is going to lose their minds. You'll let me know where I mentioned anything about other years not counting.Even said, "call me crazy..." so it's not like it was something I believed was set in stone.
Lakers did get like 3 consecutive #2's though. For you conspiracy theorists...
