not let down in Memphis ... Blazers. Hopefully some dude comes from our bench to have another 30 points game. Maybe E.T.?

Keep in mind we might have to start rooting for the Lakers to win some games. Yes lose tonight to the clippers so the playoffs become out of reach, but another 2 losses and they move down real quick towards the Zion sweepstakes.

I hope they beat Denver and Rockets

"The NBA is a league of Makes and the Lakers don't make enough"..........per Stu Lantz . (LA announcer)

You have to have shooters......

Here is where Luke will lose his job, No interior D. No Rim Protector on the floor. Does he think he is still coaching the Warriors where a center is not needed?

Talk about no emotion. The Lakers looked horrible. Can't wait for talk show radio tomorrow in LA.

After trying to trade his whole Roster (to satisfy LeBron) ... Magic Johnson was expecting these guys to give their all to the Lakers uniform ... lol Why should guys like Kuzma play hard for LeBron?

Two sides to look at this...... Lakers are 4.5 games behind the 8th seeded Spurs

Even if they lose all games until the end of season they will not have better than 7th best odds to be no. 1 which will be like 7.5% chance.

They won't be worse than Phoenix, Cleveland, New York, Chicago, Atlanta or Memphis.

Probably will not be worse than Dallas, Washington or New Orleans either, I think they will end with 5-6 more wins and be like 36-46.

So... I had thought I had heard something about the Clippers could eliminate the Lakers from playoff contention when they play.(didn't hear when the game is)

Is this true or was I hearing things?

There was a probability predictor done that said they had something like a 9% chance of making the playoffs before last night's loss. That loss pushed them down to < 5% I believe. They won't be mathematically eliminated for a few more games but the likelihood is getting extremely small.

Lakers have a 1% chance at Zion and a 0% chance at KD.

You do a good job of pretending to be a delusional Laker fan.

Return of the frozen envelope?

There is another game between Clippers and Lakers due on 6th of April though by that time I would expect playoff chances to be gone for Lakers.

Honestly, not that it has any chance of happening but I think a LeBron, Durant, Zion combo wouldn't be that great anyway. They all pretty much play the same position and probably couldn't all 3 be on the court effectively at the same time.

Lebron could just go straight PG, and have KD and Zion play the forward spots. Absolutely feasible.

Lebron's getting too old to play PG for a whole game. His defense has fallen off big time this year too. I mean I understand why Laker fans would get excited about that but I just think they'd have trouble maximizing all 3 of their abilities.

The #1, #2, #3 all have the same chance at 14%.
A difference of 6.5% between #7 and the top 3, does not seem to be much of a difference.
RJ Barrett isn't too shabby either.

Bottom line is I am enjoying that they lost to the Clippers, but I will be rooting for them big time against Denver

Hes paid to simply be on the roster.

Until hes not.
I guess you could look at it that way, but I think it is expected (and rightfully so) that players give full effort. Trades are part of the business and a reality.

Just got off the phone with a good friend in Orange County that isa huge laker fan and knows several office personnel too. He is convinced the Lakers will purposely dive into the lotto fro a shot a you know who.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see that franchise end up with the first pick in the draft?

I think it is VERY likely Zion ends up in New York, Chicago or LA. Call me crazy....but I'm looking for some kind of prop bet that allows me to put money on those large market teams. #DavidStern
For you conspiracy theorists...

This will be the Lakers 6th year in a row not making the playoffs. Of the previous 5 lotteries their pick hasn't been #1.

Since the "Frozen Envelope" in 1985 the Knicks have been in the lottery 15 times since and the highest pick they've gotten is #4.

But yeah, those other years don't count right?

You'll let me know where I mentioned anything about other years not counting. Even said, "call me crazy..." so it's not like it was something I believed was set in stone.

I know, eventually though a team like the Lakers is going to get the #1 pick again and everyone is going to lose their minds.

Lakers did get like 3 consecutive #2's though.
