I'm sure there will be an influx of new faces, but honestly I think too big of an influx in a short amount of time could really dilute this place - I can see discussions falling off the front page very quickly as the board fills up with new posts, but I guess we'll see.

Maybe not. Maybe mods, this is a suggestion, could close new threads that belong in other threads on the first page, or even merge them, that way, popular threads won't fall off of the first page so quickly, however, posts within a thread could go very fast. We shall see.

I bet the guys at BBF are hating life right now (are they still in existence?). And Denny should be thanking them. If it wasn't for the mass exodus this agreement never would have happened. And, kudos to Denny for creating such a great environment for us all.

I dont know about BBF, their main strength is the communities in College basketball, but I will say Denny deserves all of the credit in the world for S2 being here now and of course all of you as well.

Denny gave it time. We have had owners, admins, staff come and go. The one constant has been Denny and this community! I am happy for all of you and Denny as well.

Good things come to those that wait.

A lot of people over there seem to be confused by this format of message board, it seems pretty normal to me? I hate the BE style though, it's kind of like Reddit, hard to keep track of who's talking to who etc.

Shit gets buried too quickly on other formats. I remembered when I first rolled in, I was really frustrated with the format. Now I get flustered with any other. This is, by far, the best way to communicate on a message board. You have opportunity to see all conversations and know who is saying what to when!

Not at all. They're a great community and the site has lots of content. They're different than us. I also love how they have a ticket drive every year to send a bunch of poor kids to a game.
