You can just post a twitter link into the forum without clicking the Media icon. It knows what to do with it.

Ugh...CJ is right. As much as we complain about crabbe/turner/leonard,, Parsons has been MUCH worse. Another shit signing by neil that didn't happen.

It's the curse of rejecting the Blazer. I'm talking to you Hedo Turkoglu. I'm talking to you Roy Hibbert. And, I'm talking to you Chander Parsons!

Seriously, that contract is a franchise killer.

Chandler Parsons - $94 million for 4 years:
PER = 9.8
Total points scored this season: 134
1.4 points/$million

Allen Crabbe - $75 million for 4 years:
PER = 11.1
Total points scored this season: 512
6.8 points/$million

Evan Turner - $70 million for 4 years:
PER = 12.0
Total points scored this season: 421
6.0 points/$million

Timofey Mosgov - $64 million for 4 years:
PER = 12.5
Total points scored this season: 373
5.8 points/$million

Parsons won the lottery alright. And, like so many other lottery winners, decided to quit his job and never work again.

In a summer full of ridiculous contracts, Parsons was by far the worst.

It was very clearly a light-hearted post by the Blazers. Air-balls happen even in the NBA. If Parsons would have just been a good sport about it CJ wouldn't have tore him a new vagina. Parsons apparently takes himself way too seriously.

Like anyone (especially the organization) cares if you believe it or not. @Darkwebs knows the source.
Give me a link, a quote, some source of the information; i.e. where did you hear/read this and where can I read/hear it?

I don't exactly recall. It was on here but not sure if it was posted for everyone to see in a thread or if it was a private PM. If it was private then I must have deleted it as it isn't in my inbox so I leaning towards the first.

Just trying to clear things up here, guys. I don't know the actual source, but I had spoken to a guy that knew a guy who supposedly had insider information. And this conversation happened at a kid's birthday party, so take it for what it's worth. I have no idea how legit the originating source is, as my acquaintance didn't mention him by name.

Here was my post in November that KeepOnRollin is referring to:

I had to leave the house after the first quarter and now just finished the game on DVR. What a splendid finish! CJ brought his A game. Hopefully, he can continue his hot shooting next game. And I hope Dame's injury isn't anything major.

Anyway, take this for what it's worth, but while I was watching the game, an acquaintance of mine sat down and watched the 2nd half with me. He claimed to know someone who knows someone with insider knowledge (yeah, I know) and said that back in the summer, Olshey had reviewed the medical report on Parsons' knee and didn't like what he saw (especially at that price tag). That's why we didn't sign him. Supposedly, Parsons wanted to sign here, but Olshey told Parsons' agent to have him sign with Memphis instead. So the reports that Parsons chose Memphis over us is stretching the truth; we were the ones that rejected him.

That would makes sense because:
Our team should/would have been more attractive than Memphis. The Blazers are a young and exciting team on the rise, who play a fun, fast-paced style of basketball, while the Grizzlies are an old team, possibly on the decline.
Parsons' right knee was clearly not in good shape, since he is finally playing on court for the first time since surgery in March.
Parsons came back a earlier than expected, just in time to play us. What a coincidence. And he looked like utter crap tonight, obviously not ready for prime time yet.
Just thought I throw that out there. As I said before, take it with a grain of salt, especially since it's a second-hand account of a second-hand account.

You've been seeing other sources and going to parties without me?!?

I DON'T KNOW YOU ANYMORE!

Oh for fuck sake.

Here is the person the Blazers hired to be VP of social media. Very smart guy who is the one who immediately shut down the Blazer's forum and made ours their official one. That tweet was tame compared to what he did when he was with the Kings.

BTW, the president of the Kings when they were sending out outrageous tweets is the current president of the Portland Trail Blazers. The same person who just apologized.

A finger and a thumb in Parsons eye

I not sure how many times it has to be mentioned before people catch on (at least 1 more I guess) but Olshey actually told Parsons' to take the MEM deal. After we looked at his physical we passed on paying him that much money. We turned him down not the other way around.

Got a link?
