You guys have been super helpful. Thank you. I would legit like someone to explain reel = p thing. I mean why? And also how is a person supposed to know that?

And I just want to thank you @Mediocre Man for being humble enough to start this thread for the sake of your own education, thus letting others (such as myself) benefit from it. Kudos to you, sir.

Oh, if you want to benefit from me being a dumbass, you’re in for a treat

I am very good at some things, but what I’m not good at, I suck at

I was just messing around one day trying to figure out why Instagrams weren't inserting properly -- I had noticed that regular posts from IG still worked so tried making a reel into a p(ost) and voila!

As for why this is happening--S2 is running on an antiquated platform and the insert coding hasn't been updated. Many other insert options don't work, but they are so rarely used that I haven't bothered finding hacks for them (like the ESPN links that dont work). Between twitter, instagram, and reddit you can usually find what you're looking for :dunno:

Sadly, not comedy. Just an idiot, which I suppose is amusing to some
My suggestion would be to use the "Preview" function under the "More Options..." button. Sorry for laughing at your struggles, but that's the great thing about comedy.

One way to fix a twitter address for use on the forum is to put it in the format below. You don't need to use caps at all in the word "media". Only use the series of numbers from the original twitter address.

Of course you can check to see that it works by clicking on More Options, then Preview.
