I played with it a bunch. I replaced youtube.com/shorts with youtu.be, and it worked. That's youtube.com/shorts. (not the usual YouTube link addresss) I don't know how to fix that one.
Paste or image or media or link?I played with it a bunch. I replaced youtube.com/shorts with youtu.be, and it worked.
This forum software is weird, man
I just pasted--didn't use any of the icons.Paste or image or media or link?
How in the fuck is anyone supposed to know to replace short with be? What the fuck even is be
I would never have got to that? Not quite. Instead of "youtube.com/be", just have "youtu.be" (and no "/shorts")

I guess you can apparently put that URL into the media coding thing like they were showing before with the twitter and IG stuff
Instead of changing the links that didn't work, copy them and past them to a different line. Now I will change them all to youtu.be. removing shorts
Top is from copying using Iphone. bottom is apple laptop.

This one is correct. Only thing that needs to be done is to copy that and re-paste it just as letters, not as a link (so when you paste it, the characters need to be black, not red), and then the forum software will display the tweet.
I wish I'd known. I humbly bow to @Wizard Mentor for setting us straight.
I hope @THE HCP reads this thread and learns from it too.
