Kaman is a good player on a value contract. As near as I can tell, he's #1 or #2 in the C rotation.

Ramona whatsherface has been calling la to la for a long time. Just another moronic espn writer.

Woj is the guy you trust. Not some person cowriting an article with Chris fucking Broussard

No she hasn't. I heard her on the radio a week ago say specifically that the Lakers were 3rd behind SA and Portland.

That other teams are offering him the max doesn't mean much to me. Every year, several teams get "buyer's regret" for the guys they signed. Do you think any other GM has watched LA nearly every game over the past 7 years like I have? LA is simply not that good. He's above average, but he's rarely a significant force. He's a stat padder.

Who's a better PF in the NBA?

Uh no, Kevin love is a stat padder.

How so? Kevin Love is an efficient scorer, LA is one of the least efficent scorers in the league, and leads the league in FGA...he's the epitome of a stat stuffer.

Why would he even entertain HOU? They have 0 capspace and he'd be the third fiddle. smh

I don't agree with your full premise, but I don't see him being the number 1 option on a championship team. You can't rely on 16 footers where you shoot 40% all game long.

Actually you are wrong. Aldridge has out played AD. Bosh has outplayed Aldridge though

I wasn't talking about anthony davis outplaying LA my bad on the shitty sentencing. But I still think Davis is better.

Cmon now you'd really rather have aldridge than Anthony davis?

AD is overrated a touch on defense but really?
Say what?!?! I never said I wouldn't rather have AD than Aldridge. I am correcting the argument. It is fact that AD did not outplay Aldridge in the head to heads.

30 out of 30 GM's would take Davis over LA including ours. Blake Griffin likely as well due to age. PF has declined as a position of significance lately. Both Finals teams really didn't even use a lot of the time. Not sure about LA being a stat padder but in terms of playoff significance, the cupboard is very bare.

:matrix:

This might sound blasphemous but I think this team, and specifically this offense would be more efficient with millsap than with aldridge.

On one hand you have one of the top PF's in the game in LMA that we can all agree is pretty damn good. (Well most of us can agree) But as you say he can't be our #1 option. He needs to be 2nd or 3rd. Since he has been around the longest on the Blazers, is it hard for him to pass the torch to someone else. I don't know, but I do know if he goes somewhere else it will automatically happen.

But the bottom line for the Blazers, is for them to win a championship they need 3 pretty good options on offense, and they have two good ones right now if they keep LMA. So even though we might not be legitimate contenders next year, we would be really close. And with the cap going up next summer, we could find that 3rd option.

I think we all agree that in crunch time....... you can't rely on your bigs to be your #1 option.
Bigs keep you in games, guards/wings win them. (they have the handles to do so) But you still need both, and LMA is getting FA love for a reason.

I think you could rely on Aldridge in crunch time if his crunch time shots were post ups going to the hole. He is extremely good in the paint area but is allergic to comtact. Remember when he got pissed off at Chandler and just started taking it to hI'm and trying to dunk all over him? If he did that I don't think this would be a conversation. But he doesn't. That's where I disagree with Sinobas as well. I think he has the potential to be a number 1 if he didn't bail teams out a majority of the time from guarding him in the post.

Throw the ball to him in the post..not the pick and pop or left elbow extended..get him on the left block for the majority of his touches. Let him go to work
They bring a double..he is a more than capable passer to find the open guy. If they dont. Post there ass up and get to the rack. He literally is MVP caliber if he would stop hoisting up those 16+ foot shots all fucking game. He thinks he is dirk..he isnt. He is better, way better, in the post though. Should get to the FT line much more. I hope popovich gets him to play that way
