Their comeuppance is on the way. Duncan has maybe a year or two left. Parker showed significant signs of aging last year, and Manu has been a shell of himself for a while. Adding LA isn't enough to keep that team relevant once Duncan retires.

I just don't get how SA can land another max contract with Duncan, Manu, a newly-signed Green, and a maxed out Leonard. I guess they could trade for Haywood and waive him, but that would mean no bench whatsoever right?

Damian was the 10th most accurate three point shooter on the Blazers last year. Green is an elite defender while Damian is horrible. Sure I'd rather have Damian on offense but in terms of total impact on both ends of the court theres many who believe Green is the superior player. Kawhi is most definetely a superior player. Saying the Spurs have some huge decline looming when Duncan/Parker retire is ludicrous.
