Enjoyed the Raiders & Bears game. It's always good seeing the Bears lose as they are a divisional rival to the Packers.

The Raiders look like a team on the upswing this season. I am continually watching their progress along with the Browns.

With that said, my Packers are up 14-0 to the Cowboys after the 1st Quarter. Let's go, Packers!

I say it every year....it's OT......same with Duck or Beavs or Mariners, etc....they have forums but nobody uses them...guy asked me about it yesterday and I've never understood it. That plus I hate football. I love other things but wouldn't put them in the basketball forum...2 cents. I know football is big around here. S2 Yankees get traffic and MMA gets traffic...other forums are all blank.

The last part of the game was tough to watch as a Packers fan even though they won the game. The Cowboys didn't give up and tried their best in the second half.

I couldn't watch it after the first half. I went and mowed the yard to clear my head for the Fan Fest. Go Blazers!

It's not the only reason. The football forums in S2 are barren and the OT is usually overrun with Political threads.

I posted the football thread in a section of S2 with the most "traffic" and I know several of the Blazer fans are also fans of NFL. Besides, the NBA season has not yet started. The forum is pretty slow to me these days and I thought some people might watch to partake in the thread rather than going to the OT forum (which some avoid at all costs).

I am also looking for entertainment. Complaining is not my idea of entertainment. So, I put him on ignore rather than continue that conversation.
 
Very bad week for my fantasy squad seriously Evans what was that... Anyways Packers defense for the first 3 quarters looked great! Bears lose. Pretty good football weekend overall.

It was started by a yankee fan...that site has it's own mod....There is a whole NFL forum on S2....people just need to use it..there's a whole Duck forum...ghost town...but I will just click unwatch thread and move on....recently a ton of football is on the basketball forum...and I can unwatch those threads too
 
Some people view this as a Blazer fan-forum, and some view it as a Blazer-fan forum.

I tend toward the latter.

@truebluefan does an amazing job with other areas of s2. I've conversed with him on occasion he's great. I will venture out and try to talk about other sports and teams once in a while, but the Blazer section is full of people that I know and enjoy talking sports with. So many times I'll take part in discussions here on college sports, and other pro sports teams here because it's kind of like having a conversation with friends at this point, because I've gotten to know quite a few people on here outside of just S2, but this is still a "commonplace" for a lot of us to have those conversations.

No.....there's a place for your football threads.....if I post a Laker thread here...it gets moved to OT....if I post a mariner thread here it gets moved....was a forum standard until recently. This in not new information but a lot is changing around this forum. Looks like the mod is not concerned so you're pushin' the football theme...truebluefan is the welcome mat of every forum. Why not use the forum for that purpose?....and I had a new member ask me this question during the Duck game....where is everyone was the question...it's one click away to use the football forum but I guess that's hard..at any rate glad I made you laugh.

I talk music here too as well as many other subjects....just not on the basketball forum....with the same friends. yankee fan and speeds are the only two forum members who've used the forum the way it was designed...people are creatures of habit...I get that

This all the way. It's about having conversations on topics we enjoy. I focus on that and ignore the rest.
