Fisher: We still would like to continue to negotiate and try to get a deal done but right now, it's not that time.

Fisher: What we found also over the last couple of days was that there were several other issues that were key to getting a CBA done.

Fisher: On a couple of the issues, there was some change, there was some revision from the proposal we saw before.

Fisher: I guess I remain in the same place as yesterday-nit enough progress to get a deal done

BrianFromWA: It's amazing that you're 4 months into a lockout, 22 hours into a "last-ditch" negotiating session, and you still don't know what the effing issues are.

Hunter: There has been some movement from the NBA, obviously not enough.

Hunter: ...the question now is how player reps will respond next week?

Hunter says player reps won't meet until "early next week."

Hunter won't say whether he would accept this deal or not. Wants to get players into New York Monday or Tuesday and see what they want.

Hunter says there are another 30 or 40 secondary issues that also need to be resolved.

Hunter: Among those seconary issues are the age limit, commissioner discipline, etc. -- six pages union presented them.

Damnit players take the effin deal and end this forsaken lockout already.

Hunter: "We made every effort within reason to try to make an agreement."

Hunter: we haven't succeeded yet so you feel in a sense that you haven't fulfilled your mission

Why not have the players in NY now to discuss the fucking deal now?

Monday or Tuesday?!?

Hunter said he indicated to Stern that union needed time to review offer with player reps.

Woj

Asked ownership source if this proposal is last, best before league delivers so-called 'reset' offer: "Looks that way to me," source said.

League has not given time limit for accepting or rejecting new offer.

Hunter: It's not the greatest proposal in the world but I have an obligtion to at least present it to our membership.

Fisher: if this is league's last best offer we'll have to take that into consideration

Hunter acknowledged revised offer will remain on table till they get back to NBA.

Hunter: "Its been a long haul. We're trying to come to the end of it and get this thing done."

Hunter: ...the question now is how player reps will respond next week?

They should be more concerned about the fans will respond

Stern: We made a revised proposal to the union which attempted to meet their concerns as best as we and the labor relations committee could.

Stern opens with a joke about the air conditioning. Says revised proposal has been made, with 72-game season starting Dec. 15.

72-Game Season, Beginning December 15th, If Deal Reached

Stern: I met with Billy and said that just as the clock had stopped at 5 o'clock on Wednesday ... would remain stopped through his meeting.

Stern says NBPA has until "no later than Tuesday" and clock will remain stopped while Hunter meets with board.

Stern says if we don't get positive answer, revised proposal with 47 percent share for players would be redelivered.
