Interesting since we both had identical regular season records. (And we played in a much tougher conference)
Maybe we are as good as the Heat.

I think that, if the Spurs didn't exist, it could have been a Blazers/Miami finals, and it would have gone 7 games. I stand by my insane assertion the the Spurs this year would have stopped any of the Jordan championship teams. They're on a mission.

The only good thing about a short finals series is less of that fool, mark jackson . . .

I'm at a loss as to who the MVP will be if SA holds on and pulls this out.

Diaw? Kawhi?

Prolly Timmy as a lifetime achievement thing?

How the hell does he keep getting a TV gig? He gets fired from coaching and he automatically gets promoted to ABC's A team?
He does have some decent insight, but his voice is irritating. Personally I would have preferred Reggie Miller. TNT has much better announcers.

It's funny how Van Gundy bullies Mark Jackson (although he didn't last night that I noticed). I wish Jackson would kick Gundy's ass, on air.

Reggie is a full-on bonehead. I'd rather hear Pete Pranica.

I love watching the Spurs dissect the Heat.

I didn't love it so much when they were dissecting the Blazers, but I respected it.

Their play is a thing of beauty.

I kind of like that we weren't especially bad against the Spurs... just another body to bury in the woods.

So will Pop and Timmy retire after they get one last ring?

I think so. The franchise has a new star player emerging in Leonard, and the assistant they promote to head coach ala College Football will keep The System in place until the entire roster turns over. Both can leave on a high note knowing the franchise is in good hands.

I missed the dumbest post in the history of this forum right here.....and fuck, read some of mine.

Seriously, that ought to light a fire under him.

TimD is dominating inside on defense. Never seen anything like this with a basketball player nearly 40. Kareem was a shell of himself at that age, yes he had the effective sky hook but he didnt have this multidimensional effect on the game Timmy has. Is Duncan the best big man of all time? Is he the best basketball player of all time?

Hey, Marzie! Are you floating yet?

Not yet but getting close. The last piece (ballast) is under construction, err right after I fill my wood shed.
I think final assemble in the shipyard about September.

Uhhhhh, no. Poor free throw shooters will never be the best of all time. If they are, then Wilt wins this or Shaq.

None of the above. But he has played the longest while continuing at a high skill level. Very likely due to the system he plays in as well as the coach he has played a career under.
