The one thing I could never get past, and he's not the only guy who did this, was constantly bringing up something someone said years ago. Listen, there are a few things in my life I really excel at as well, but I don't feel the need to brag about it to those in that industry or to anyone for that matter. If I know what I am, why feel the need to explain it ten times a day?

HCP. I dont have time for Twitter or instagram. I am not someone who needs attention or constant conversations to feel meaningful ( Not saying anyone who uses those are). I am not interested in getting to know you. You have not given me any reason to want to and I suppose in the end... thats my point. People say your cool, then ACT like it and maybe more would like to get to know you better. Stop picking on new members( most of them have been a fan just as long as you im willing to bet). Stop ridiculing anyone who wants to try to be positive about this team. If you are confident in your belief that we suck and wont win and others disagree with you, then show some confidence in your alleged expertise and let it go. If you truly believe, you should feel the need to make others believe as well. Lets us drown in our positivism if we want.
I think most people who have issues with HCP have issues because of this. HCP's incessant need to want to cram his "Expertise" down other peoples throats.

If HCP were actually paid to post here it would violate the employment contract he has to sign yearly to work for Blazer Broadcasting and he would be fired.

So yes, HCP is paid to post here. If anyone from the Blazers ever asks me that I will happily say that he is.

This has all been overblown mainly because I actually thought an eye could be opened as to how one treats his fellow fans with regard to their positivism. I thought I could make one realize that he is painting all of us positives with the same brush when we have different shades. I thought that one would be mature enough to be like... "Oh, yeah, maybe just because someone is positive doesn't mean they will drive themselves crazy if the team loses." I thought I could open ones' eyes to how he treats new members of a forum.
This is my fault and I take the blame. I should know better than to try to oppose one who has so many times made it clear the size of the tunnel his vision has.

I think in those first ten games we have a really good chance of going 5-5. I think we could beat New Orleans because they're on a second of a back to back and we're an uptempo team. I think we could steal one of the Phoenix games, and I think we've got a really good chance of beating Minnesota, Utah, and Denver. I think we lose to Memphis twice, Detroit, Phoenix, and the Spurs.

The next ten are

Looking at this, we might get 3 out of 10. I like our chances against Minny, Phoenix, and the Knicks. The Bucks are another young team, but they've had more time to develop together. I don't think we beat the Thunder, Cleveland, Atlanta, or probably even Orlando. To be on the safe side I'll say 3 wins, which puts us at 11-19 on the season.

This is going to be a rough stretch. Very brutal scheduling. I think we could get wins against Denver at home and Sac. Historically we haven't done well in Denver, so that's probably a loss. We might be able to get one against New Orleans and Sac. I'm going to say 3/10 because I think we might steal a win against one of the contenders, whether it's Memphis, LAC, GS, or OKC. So our record at this point would be 14-26.

I'm going to say we get one of the Dallas games. Philly is a win, as is the SAC and Boston home games. I'm going to say 4/10 on this series. 30-50.

Last two are MIN and DEN. Those are both winnable, however at this point I think we might be tanking. Still, I'll say we go out with two wins to put us at 32-50. So I guess that's my answer.

Our bench has been very consistent and has become the foundation of our solid game. If our starters can get more in tune to start and finish, then we are one hell of a dark horse to make the playoffs and I dont think anyone will want to face us... including GS.

Honestly, I dont think the big signing will happen this year. It will be a trade to nail down the second of a big three and then Durant will sign with us the year after when he hits free agency.

I think this trade deadline/offseason will be more about trading away who isnt fitting to find the 2nd star. NO isnt going to toss his extra cash around just to sign. He proved that this last offseason. The guy has tricks and I believe he can bring in the names in the next two years.
