Nah. They sold more tickets this season than last season even with her missing a ton of time.

They'd sell more if she was playing, but they'll be fine without her, as well.

Clark drew attention to WNBA. And people paying attention discovered other stars and story lines. Not unusual for people to start watching a sport because of a star, then come to appreciate the game.

It’s up because of the availability with the new TV deal. It’s up because they all arrived LAST season and are now sticking around. Which is good for the league. But please don’t downplay the reason.
