are the refs.

We're a better team, playing at home with an energized crowd the likes doesn't exist in the rest of the NBA.

Ronnie Garrettson, Bill Kennedy, and Mike Callahan tonight. Garrettson scares me.

Sure seems like that around some of the league, LOL.

No Joey Crawford, no Ed Malloy, no Bennie Salvetore, no Scott Foster, no Tony Brothers. We should be ok tonight with the refs.

I fear one thing and one thing only:

Its the end of Q4, LA on the line and we are tied, 1 more to shoot at the stripe and then Joey rushes the floor from the opposite side out of the stands screaming at the scorers table about some phantom problem with the board. Shit kept me up all night.

Just don't stare at him with malicious intent (Sheed) or you'll get tossed. He's also the guy Van Exel pushed and he said "are you stupid" or something similar back to NVE. But overall, he hasn't been a thorn in our side like others have. The NVE thing happened when he played for the Lakers, not PDX.

Bullshit. The refs can only affect the game at its margins. Anything else would be far too obvious. We have control of the game if we're agressive and we don't bark at the refs. Just play our game, but play it at 100%.

I think the Rockets have marginally better individual talent and we work marginally better as a team. Those individuals on the Rockets have picked up their game, especially on the defensive end. We need to match that agressiveness.

Towels are set!

Grrr. Guess I don't know how to do it.

Anyone have an orientation on how to use this siite>

I think the Blazers will win tonight. Blazers are the better team!

As long as lma is hitting shots early things should go well. They kind of relaxed on him and he got some open shots in game 5 that weren't falling.

Lma has only scored under double digits twice this season, game 5 was one of those times. I think you've got to expect him to come out and have a quality bounce back game.

Refs are fine. Blazers need to be the aggressor. Period.

The only way we lose tonight, is if the Rockets score more points than we do.

Profundity. Deal with it! :devilwink:

It's going to be difficult tonight. Every single team that was down 3-2 on the road has won so far in the playoffs.

I hear those dorks on The Starters call him that and it hurts my ears. EVERYBODY calls him LA.

Those Dorks are smart. No disrespect to LMA at all but NO Fucking Way am I calling him after two teams that are pieces of shit!

We are not a better team. We have been behind in every game by 10+ points. If we lose its because we didn't pay good enough to win.

Fact or Fiction: The Rockets will be eliminated in Game 6.

Tom Haberstroh, ESPN Insider: Fact. These two teams are so evenly matched, it’s going to come down to home-court advantage, playing at the Rose Gar — er, Moda Center. LaMarcus Aldridge was plagued by foul trouble in Game 5, and I don’t see the Portland bench giving them zilch again. As much as this series deserves a Game 7, I don’t see the Blazers blowing this opportunity.

Tim MacMahon, ESPN Dallas: Fact. Why not pick the two longest playoff-series victory droughts to end on the same night? The Blazers haven’t advanced to the second round since 2000, but that will change with LaMarcus Aldridge having a big bounce-back performance after his Game 5 dud.

Andrew McNeill, 48 Minutes of Hell: Fact. Despite Houston’s numbers being better on the road in this series, this series ends at the Moda Center. Both teams’ defenses have been abysmal in the Rose City this series, and whichever team’s D comes to play tonight will win. I think that will be Portland’s.

Michael Wallace, Heat Index: Fact. Unlike the Hawks and Grizzlies last night, the Trail Blazers won’t squander this opportunity at home. Their balance, depth and health at this stage of the series will be enough to overwhelm Houston. Linsanity, as much of a pleasant surprise as it was in Game 5, won’t save the Rockets this time. If there’s any truth to the adage that role players perform better in big games at home, all signs point to Portland finally putting this series to rest.

Ohm Youngmisuk, ESPN New York: Fiction. Let’s keep the Game 7 trend going. Blazers fans will have the place rocking but the Rockets have the firepower to subdue the hostile crowd. Harden and Howard find a way to force a Game 7 and shift the series from Rip City to Clutch City.
