The ONLY Way We Lose Tonight...

I've seen this argument that seems to say that games are only officiated equally if both teams have the same number of fouls called and shoot the same number of free throws. That presumes, erroneously IMO, that all teams do everything at the same rate. If teams performed perfectly equally, there would be no sense in playing the games. They don't. Some teams foul more, turnover the ball less, shoot a better percentage, play worse defense, box out and rebound better.... All things are not equal, so why should foul calls be equal? I have never understood the argument.

It isn't so much the bad calls as they tend to even out. It's the timing if them. When LA got those 2 early phantom fouls and had to sit the Rockets went on a tear and it was too tiring to overcome. Also, the really bad calls, like the obvious goal tending missed just cannot continue against us.

So what has been the points in the paint so far this series? I am about to go night night from some awesome drugs that would make Mags jealous. Has either team shot more in the paint?
Good question. IDK

I hope you have magical dreams of Blazers awesomeness, and wake to the news that the Blazers are in the second round.

Ya, they haven't let me watch any of them live because it spikes my blood pressure from the stress. Totally serious

If we lose it will be because we go to Matthews too much. Its the reason we lost the last game. We had the last game but late in the 4th we were putting Matthews on the post. I understand why he is doing it but its the playoffs and Harden is going or rather isn't going to get the foul called on him.
