Then again, there are Blazer fans across the country. Perhaps we should just make it the United States Trail Blazers of Portland (you know, like the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) to ensure that all fans nationwide are properly represented.

No. I can honestly say that their are probably people in remote parts of Oregon who totally identify the Blazers with Portland.
