I appreciate that, and beyond this argument I don't have a problem with you. But I also don't appreciate someone trolling my thread, and I'm not going to be nice about it. I don't believe I was acting childish. Mocking, sure, but not childish. Threatening, warning, swearing at are a bit childish though.....IMHO anyway

Apparently, your definition and my definition of what constitutes childish behavior is very different. I don't see being short with someone acting like a troll as being childish.

Now, I've given you several choices. What will it be? Leave the thread? Ignore list? Or stop trolling?

You are welcome to join us here. But no more "mocking" and no more trolling. It's that simple. The choice is yours. And I'm not interested for furthering this debate with you, so just make a choice.

Thank you so much for giving me a choice to participate in this public forum. How very .gracious of you. I say this to everyone. If you don't like what I have to say then you should absolutely put me on ignore. You should try and have the best forum experience you can.

I absolutely appreciate your participation in this forum and our fanbase, and I value your membership here. As I said: beyond this disagreement, I don't have a problem with you.

But I also don't appreciate someone popping up to troll or mock a thread or the topic of such without contributing something of worth, which so far you have not done.

The next time I update this thread with a post-victory celebration, and you continue this behavior, then I'm just gonna put you on ignore until the end of the season. I just won't put up with it, or from anyone who can't behave themselves. (And I've had to learn how to behave myself on this forum....ask Sly.....so please understand that I know of what I speak. :biglaugh:).

Med, I would prefer NOT to put you on my ignore list. I would prefer not to put ANYONE on my ignore list, which is why I've only done it one time in 17 years. It's not like I sit around all day fuming and fantasizing about putting people on my ignore list while carving their names into the wall with a Ka-Bar knife.

But yes, I find trolling REALLY annoying. Guilty.

Huge difference between sharing ones opinion and trying to force feed it down the throats of others every time an opportunity presents itself. Not saying you do, as you have been much better, but you kinda used to with Meyers.. however you are still nothing like Tunchi. :)

If you don't like a thread, let it be known and move on, but the moment you keep coming back to a thread you have openly said you don't care for, its all on you as to why you keep coming back. No one else.

Same thought I had with HCP when he tried to give Swish3 shit for comments in his own thread.

If you don't like it, don't keep reading it. Simple. :cheers:
 
Besides. If anything it helps us feel more normal to know that other teams whine just like we do. So we aren't any different. We aren't a bunch of whiners, we are normal fans. :)

If you meant me, didnt mean to come off as an ultimatum, but more of a suggestion to better help the convos around here.

Besides I know Mediocre takes my posts with a grain of salt. :)

You were just the latest; Jade was doing the same. But there are several around here who do it routinely. Telling others how to post, complaining about how people post...it just gets tiresome.

Saw your report. I read the last two pages and now I have a headache. It seems @Mediocre Man was being mischevious and a wise guy. I think he actually had a valid point too. But, all the same he was having a little fun.

@Jade Falcon seems like you were doing most of the whining bro. I get, having created multiple themed threads, not liking someone coming in and posting something incongruous to your threads purpose. But, it's a public forum. No, trolling isn't against the rules unless it becomes deleterious to the forum, causes a fracas, or results in the instigating/insulting of fellow posters. In such a case, rule #9 could be invoked, but this is no serious offense. I see no consequential harm done here. Besides ww like to try and keep it laid back here.

Perhaps, if you would have asked nicer rather than proceeding down a repining avenue, he may have saw fit to start his own thread about Blazer Complaints. Probanly not. But hey, you can always go kick a goat.

I dunno, I thought I started out being pretty nice. We kind of gave him a clue that it wasn't appreciated, and he continued anyways. In fact he was quite clear that he was going to, instead of taking the much offered high road and going elsewhere. Not really sure how much nicer I have to be when someone acts like that, but.....okay, I guess.

No, this isn't the end of the world, and I'm hardly going to lose sleep over it. But he's done it like 3 or 4 times in this thread since I started it in preseason, and he even did it last year in the first "Other Side" thread I started then (which I ignored at the time). It's pretty annoying.

Now he knows the consequences if he does it again, and we don't need to have another argument about it.
