Does Tiago speak Spanish? Brazilians speak Portuguese, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

I had forgotten this about Brazil, but heard that he also spoke Spanish, so that was the connection in mind.

To think what one could do if one learned serviceable Portuguese and one mingled with the thong-strutting birds of the beaches of Rio with one's wife's assistance and approval??!? Does the dollar go incredibly far there like other S.A. countries? If so, with a few hundred dollars, one could live like a KING and QUEEN for a month! Perhaps armed with a daily course of penicillin, but still!

The language might not be necessary, but would be better to be able to say colorful things in the native tongue.

man I worked in Rio for a month a couple summers ago. I learned a few phrases in Portuguese, but i would continue to try Spanish out of habit and man I was lost. It’s so different. It’s like a mixture of Spanish and French kinda.
