The Playoff Picture

I mentioned it this morning in my Playoff Odds thread:

Indiana has a very unusual streak going. In their last 15 games, they have alternated wins and losses. If the pattern holds, they are due for a win against DEN tomorrow night.

And then DEN has NOP on Sunday, who have won 5 of 6 and seem to have finally figured out how to win in the post Buddy Heald era. They beat MEM by 12, MIN by 13, Hou by 16 and us by 23.

Come on rest of the league, give us some help here!

Oh so that's why kingspeed hasn't talked about the Pelicans lately.

If NOP keeps winning though we gotta watch our back

Denver is leading Indiana in the 1st

Jokic with a double double already in the first half 21 and 12 jesus

Indiana, makes a minny run but Denver up 11 at half...could be worse

I don' see us sweeping Minnesota, as per the chart. They will get at least one.

Wow Denver is not going away. What happened to their so called hard remaining record?

Sorry guys the Nuggets seem to be better overal than the Blazers

Denver seem to be in good form and are climbing towards .500. Might be too little too late for us.

I am adopting Milwaukee as my team in the East for the playoffs. Something very cool about them. Also cheering for Miami, their story is brilliant.

Wow, Detroit are hopeless. 30 down to Magic? What the hell?

I watch Denver play and it worries me alot. They are playing on another level. With that being said, just about everyone i know is a Nuggets fan and they are all shitting their pants over the Blazers. They seem to be already mentally prepared for the let down of missing the playoffs. Im not so sure tho. I expect Denver to do MUCH better than our hopes and dreams indicate. Portland will have to win these games at home to not blow it.

Yes, why wouldn't I? When I wrote the post, Denver was 24/25 while Indiana was 4/5 from the FT line. Denver was up by 19 at the time. When has a team ever received that kind of treatment fairly?
1. When they are more aggressive
2. When they feed their franchise center
3. When they simply get fouled more

It's not some big damn conspiracy against poor Portland.

Galinari is their franchise center? He was 17-18 tonight.

Did you watch the game? If not, how do you know any of those things are true? Assume much?

Although, I do agree, there is no conspiracy against POR.

The question was "when has a team ever received that kind of treatment fairly"

I responded

I did watch some of the game. It was mostly Denver being aggressive. Some bad calls, sure, but mostly one team being aggressive and the other being coached by an Ass Clown
