OT The reasons why SlyPokerDog is ruining this forum. #3 will floor you!

What the fuck is it with these political divisions?!?

Just like the constructs of "black" skin and "white" skin.

They are simply meant to divide us.

Why do we quibble over a few chromosomes when we are 99.9% alike?

We are literally 1 percent different than a plant. A FUCKING PLANT.

Think about that...

Well, plants don't like each other either.

People give me a hard time for using the ignore button but I'll tell you right now, it cleans up bullshit conversations that never end really well....

I thought i had been posting a lot lately but felt left out cause no one replies. Maybe im just on everyone's ignore feature. Yay

A fair percentage of people can't discuss any topic without taking offense, attacking, and being bitter. It's a universal law.
I'm not here to argue with insecure twerps.

As for HCP and his hazing? It's a non-issue. The guy posted a rap tune in a Walter Becker tribute thread. He needs therapy.

The mods do a great job here. We are lucky.
Dog works in mysterious ways.......
Welcome the the world of cyber bullying and precious snowflakes. HCP hazing is tame, and i certainly understand his sexual frustrations when the whole bored has dined with the mrs.

I've noticed that there are many post noting the ways that Sly is ruining the forum, but I don't see any answering the question posed in the title about why he's doing it.

Why, Sly, why???

Just don't turn into a fucking Chihuahua or Jack Russell. Love dogs, HATE those.

With all that is going on in this world.... you're going to not only take the time to express your hate, but admit that your hate exists towards certain living creatures.

So, so, so wrong, my man.

(I love my Jack Russell, but she's number two to our other dog.)

Chihuahuas are the best. I hated them until my wife had one when we first started dating. Now we have two and i love them. Best dogs ever.

Good ezcuse not to have people over because they are absolute assholes to intruders.

Good guard dogs. They alert you when someone is at the door or lurking around your house.

So damn loyal too.

I'm Liberal socially to an extent. I was pretty Conservative in my early 20s, but as I've gotten older, I've had to learn to live and let live. Some life experiences here and there helped with that as well.

Again: I don't have a problem with Sly's Leftist beliefs, just the "obsessive" part of it. The OT is full of his threads about something to do with Trump or some Conservative somewhere. I don't personally believe it's necessary, but that's just my opinion.

Lately, I've been avoiding the OT like a bad plague, so what do I know?

Let's talk about Denny and the Eight Years of Obama, shall we?

Did you see @Stevenson's ranting thread in OT about Trump supporters being responsible for the flooding in Houston?

I don't always agree with everything Denny says, but at least he doesn't pull stupid bullshit like that.

You don't know how a deal with the devil works, do you?

There is a double standard, but it's not driven by moderators, it's driven by popularity. HCP is popular, because he does have a lot of good traits and because he's been here a long time. Because he's popular, people rally to his defense against perceived slights, even when the things those defenders criticize in his detractors (thin skin) is a weakness of HCP's too (in certain aspects--specifically when he's criticized as annoying or a bad influence on the forum).

Double-standards driven by popularity are never going to go away, so you just have to accept it. Internet forums and discussion areas, going back to AOL chat rooms and USENET, are clique-ish by nature. You're never going to "win" a meta-argument (an argument about whether so-and-so is a good or bad poster or an annoying poster or similar things) against a more popular board member--it's best to just ignore the people you don't like and stick to discussing topics not poster-related.

Sorry for making any kind of analysis of another poster (HCP), but since this topic never ever seems to go away, I figured I'd address it once. I like HCP fine. He's solidly in the top 100 posters on this site and I say that without hesitation or equivocation. We should stop talking about other posters, positively or negatively. That won't happen, though. Have a great evening and, as dviss suggests, keep the people dealing with greater issues in your mind for a sense of perspective. It helps.

Well, if the Devil looks like this:

....then she can make a deal with me any day.

Y'all know what? This whole fucking thread is WACK.

I literally have family that:

Evacuated Houston only to evacuate the place he went to which were my other cousins.

Evacuated Cascade locks and N. Bonneville (We still have yet to hear from my Ex-wife's Brother who was in Cascade locks. He isn't answering).

Live in the path of that fucking Bitch Irma...

I also have a funeral to go to on Thursday. My God Brother just died of Brain Cancer.

All of this shows me that in the grand scheme of things, I probably shouldn't take this forum serious. This forum is actually a RESPITE from all of this.

So:

1. No more fucking JOKES about the fires or the hurricanes. They are NOT funny and some of us have family members DIRECTLY affected by them.

2. GET OVER YOURSELVES.... Seriously. All of US. Myself and @HCP included.

People are literally dying.
Let's make this forum great again

Two things.

1. HCP understood nothing of what you wrote outside of "HCP" and the word "the".

2. Show your list.

It's posts like this is why @Minstrel is our best mod.

This is suppose to be a thread where everyone comes together and bitches about me.

Stop bitching about each other!

Cheeseus H Christ, one little comment here and there and some of you just can't wait to lose your shit.

Another reason: You yell in bold letters. If you want to really prove your mettle online, you NEED TO TYPE LIKE THIS!

CAPITALS are better than bold!

Wait, there are a hundred posters on this site?

Oh, I see what you did there. Good one!

The MVP of the league gets away with things the random average player doesn't. It's kinda' how I see the whole thing with me on here. Denny has kinda given me a green light around here, you guys know this. I have always been the popular kid in school. It definitely has it's perks. Totally agree with what this guy says by the way. And my brother lives by Corbett and true Sandy river.....sorry, but I'm using humor to deal with the stress.
