I've been looking for a smart ring like this for a while now, I think the smart watches are ugly AF.

There have been a bunch come and go on Amazon. They get posted for sale, a bunch of fake reviews praising it, then the real reviews come in saying they're junk.

If this is like the others the metal will wear off and sweat will ruin them.

The ring the NBA is going to use has only one very fake review.

That's a ton of importance and trust being put on a piece of tech with no consumer real world testing.

You just need something that fits better with your whole pimp-dog persona. I'm thinking this watch band, maybe with a couple of diamonds added, might work:

Florida is hit with record-high daily COVID-19 infections as forecast model warns it's on track to become the next coronavirus epicenter and risks being 'the worst it has ever been' - as nine other states also see surges
  • The number of new coronavirus cases in Florida surged to 3,207 on Thursday
  • The daily case count surpassed the previous record set on Monday when more than 2,700 cases were confirmed
  • At least some of the increase reflects expanded testing but the rate of positive tests also has been ticking upward in recent days
  • New COVID-19 forecasts from the PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia indicates Florida could become the next large epicenter
  • The model is forecasting a surge in new cases in areas like Miami and Tampa
  • The warnings for Florida come as several other states this week have also seen record high number of daily infections and hospitalizations
  • Texas also recorded a record high number of cases and hospitalizations on Thursday
  • Alabama, Arizona, California, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon and South Carolina have all also seen surges in the last week

Even a somewhat minor injury that requires an MRI could be a problem.

Is the NBA going to keep medical equipment and personnel onsite at Disney, equipment and personnel that could be desperately needed in the surrounding community, or do they send an injured player to a overwhelmed medical facility?

Again, imagine something like Nurk's injury, something that requires hospitalization and surgery.

What would happen if the NBA canceled the 2019-20 season?
an interesting article from hoopshype that details many of the potential impacts that a failure to return and finish the season and playoffs may have.
there are some thought provoking quotes from former blazer ed davis covering the negative impacts from a broader perspective than just playing the game and individual losses in income.
if you find your self with the opportunity i recommend the read.

Coulda just said personal reasons, but alright. Guess they didn't want everyone to speculate.

That blows for us. We needed the guy to guard Lebron-- but I still have my doubts about this actually happening.
