Didn't Jokic lose a bunch of weight?

No idea. It was a nbcsports link, so I'm gonna blame their shitty writers. Feel free to blame my linking abilities.

Not blaming anyone, just curious as to why they'd call him a center. Small ball really is catching on, I guess.

Little hasn't played a whole NBA season yet and Trent hasn't been in the rotation for more than a couple months and now we are thrown into a playoff race after 4 months off with only 8 games left in the season. I want players with experience for this little 8 game and hopefully playoff run. Someone like Turner would be perfect. We won't go far with inexperienced Little and Trent in big minutes. My opinion.
We wont go far with a guy who shoots 35% from the field and 27% from 3. We wont go far with a shoot-first, shoot-second, forget-the-score-third player who is insanely inefficient. Look at what JRs playoff experience led too... Crabbe was a one-dimensional shooter amd now its apparent that Trent is a better shooter on top of being smarter and a better defender.

Shitty players having "playoff experience" are overrated, because playoff experience isnt going to help these guys make shots, or not be bad.

Turner isnt better than Trent, and his "experience" doesn't make up for that. I'd rather play the young guys who are just as talented as the crummy options on the free agent market and hope they step up there game (since they're more of a wild card than guys that have proven they suck) and if not, at least theyd gain experience that could help us in the future.

Olshey (or any GM) would be dumb to go to Orlando without a full roster when there’s a threat of players getting knocked out for ten+ days. We already know Stotts doesn’t trust rookies so seeing Nas starting/playing heavy minutes is probably just wishful thinking.
Its Nas vs. Mario at this point, so at least Nas has a chance. And given all the free agents out there are Hezonja-levelx I'd rather just keep the roster as is instead of giving Stotts the ability to play Shumpert 30+mpg even when he's shooting 30% from the field (ala Bazemore 2.0).

I've been leaning more and more to it not happening also. With the virus picking up here in FL this past week, and the social unrest not ending any time soon, I anticipate more and more players will drop out.

More and more? Isn’t Ariza the only one who’s dropped out?

I agree I’m just saying it’s likely they sign someone. I’d honestly just start Nas.

Jokic has tested positive for Covid 19 in Serbia....Denver is fucked for the playoffs

Trent can handle it IMO. He's a bit undersized but he makes up for it with heart and strength. Plus, we should have two 7-foot rim protectors to offset our perimeter defenders being undersized. Offensively, Trent would be wonderful for us at the 3.

lol yes, I’m aware of what Trent brings to the table.

We need him with the second unit, which has issues scoring as it is, hence why I prefer to start Nas.

Actually my real preference is even crazier than that (Wenyen) but I know that would never happen.

We went to the WCF with Turner, in fact. And he scored 10 points in the 4th quarter in Game 7 on the road. I don't think a young guy with no experience would've delivered in that scenario. Remember Kobe's airballs?

That hero Ariza sure fucked us over.

But as everyone in this thread says, playing with your kid is more important than being a provider to him. So I say, more power to Ariza for causing us this problem.
