The "Sharpe just did some crazy shit!" thread

Sharpe may not be our second best player, quite yet, but I think it is entirely possible that he's already our second best in BBIQ.

Wouldn't every 20 and under rookie remind people of Kawhi Personality wise?

Young teenagers don't know how to articulate their thoughts well, are reserved, and need to learn how to speak to the public. Ant was the same as a rookie but now is much more talkative, I'd expect as these guys age they will open up even more.

Kawhi is so unusual and not all in a good way, I wouldn't compare others to him.

Dame, CJ and even BRoy were all exceptions to normally reserved rookies as they were 4 year college guys and extremely articulate well spoken.
I've been teaching high school students for a while and you just can't generalize like that. Some of them are astonishingly articulate and forthright. In fact, I don't think you change that much over your life. Chatty later implies chatty in high school.

Tough to top Rim Shaedy after there was an entire rap song written about him -- but Shakedown also has a nice ring to it!! Is this the first ever auto-correct that one could be happy about??
What about T.A.G. for Talented and Gifted? Could tie that into the "Tag! You're it" phrase as he has got next after Dame D.O.L.L.A.

Yes the GOAT would be a top5 player. Nobody else (VC, TMac, Kobe, Wade) being discussed is a top5 player.
being the GOAT makes you a top 5 player so, no big deal but it's odd that you'd add that

Vince was extremely athletic but he did not have Jordan's hops.
Multiple posters disagree with you

Jordan was on a whole different level as the GOAT and a top 5 player. He had a 48 inch vertical. None of those other guys were in the same realm.

Didn't they change how verticals were measured after Jordan's days, resulting in lower numbers for everyone?

It was disrespectful
"You made Plumlee look silly by hanging in the air that long! We can't have that--technical foul!!"

Seriously though, it looks like on the highlight that he said like two words. I can only assume he said something about the contact and the ref took umbrage, but I'd think the threshold for T-ing a player up should be significantly higher than that.

If SS wasn't a rookie would he have gotten that T? I am going with NO.

Being chatty in high school is very different than knowing how to speak in public as as an NBA player. Young people, and also people that are new to a job (regardless of age) are less chatty while they better understand how to articulate and present themselves. Just because Kawhi is a reserved quiet guy in his 30's (not to mention all his oddities) doesn't mean 19 year old Sharpe, or any NBA rookie, will be similar for the next decade.

Anyone else notice that they had the wrong pictures for Bernard King? And instead of showing Spud Webb dunking, they showed him in another persons dunk?

And they had Clyde wearing a Rockets jersey?
