From Neil's tone I think Diez has a real chance to make the team this coming season
Shooter who doesn't defend. I like his chances

Demarre Carroll bitches.
How about mike dunleavy for cheap? He grew up a little here while his dad was coach right?
I like Dunleavy if we spend most our money on other positions. I bet Chicago lets him walk with their luxury tax issues. He plays solid d and can hit the three. Yes he's old but if we think we could contend next year he's the type of role player that could give us some key minutes. He won't be terrible as a role player or even an emergency starter; sometimes its more important to have a couple guys you know aren't terrible than trying to fine a future star.
Rudy Gay
*shudder*
While I don't like the players Olshey likes, I think we can both agree on this one.
Easy... If San Antonio wants Aldridge bad, then they need the cap space to get him. In order for that to happen, they must get the offer in before Leonard is signed, then resign Leonard. If a team signs an offer sheet first, then SAS doesn't have the cap space to offer Aldridge or any max free agent for that matter. The choice would need to be, match and stay the same and be older, or let go and get the free agent we want.
Or if they wait too long, Olshey gets a better squad and LMA stays.Haha come on man, Kawhi and SAS are not dumb. Under your scenario they simply sign LA then resign Kawhi to a 5 year max instead of a 4 year offer sheet. Kawhi is smart enough to wait a few days to make sure that the deal gets done. Why because he sure knows that having LA around after Duncan and Ginobili are not keeps the Spurs relative. Plus there is no way in hell he is giving up a 5th season with bigger raises and no income tax to come to a Blazer team that just lost LA and where he would lose 9.5% to the tax man each year.
Or if they wait too long, Olshey gets a better squad and LMA stays.
I guess we will soon find out won't we?Play with Duncan under Popovich or Play with Vonleh under Stotts. Only way he picks us is if he is afraid of Duncan's shadow and not being able to continue the legacy.

Paul Pierce?
Paul Pierce?
that's a bold statement, considering we have 7 guys under contract right now*, and none of them are SFs.Blazers starting SF isn't on the team yet.
And he's cheap too. $1M contract. I'd prefer him as a backup getting 10-15min a game though. And what would you give up for him?The guy Neil should try to acquire is Robert Covington.
Has developed into a solid starter. Skill set fits this system. Good outside shooter.
Play with Lillard under Stotts or play with Bonner under Popovich. See what I did therePlay with Duncan under Popovich or Play with Vonleh under Stotts. Only way he picks us is if he is afraid of Duncan's shadow and not being able to continue the legacy.
I don't think you can trade Henderson with anyone else other than Vonleh. I'd trade Vonleh, using the trade exception for Chandler. I think they'd take a prospect like Vonleh for someone thatll leave after a year. Turning Nic into Henderson and Chandler would be a great move. Coupled with the 23 for Plumlee, maybe then the national media would realize were not rebuilding.Denver is looking to shed salary so I think they'd be very attracted to Kaman's deal. This works under the cap:
To Denver: Kaman/Henderson/Crabbe
To Portland: Denilo Gallinari
Right now they are talking to Memphis for possibly Jeff Green and fodder - this doesn't help Denver's cap as their contracts (Gallo/Green) both expire in 2016.
Coming off an injury he looked solid last year.
Only 26 years old.

Reports have Denver shopping Danilo Gallinari & Wilson Chandler. Would either one blow your skirt up? http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine
bleh. Why would we sign Monroe? We need a defensive center, and he's a horrible defender. Only 1 3 point shooter in the starting lineup gives LA no room to opperate. Frazier and Crabbe as rotation players? No thanks. We don't have the assets to create a trade for a starting SF IMO. Look for the SF to be a signing.
Carroll or Aminu is my guess. I'd also like to add Monroe to the mix.
DL - GH - Aminu(S) - LMA(R) - Monroe(S)
TF - CJ - Crabbe - Leonard - Plumlee
Wright(R) - Vonleh
(R)=re-signing
(S)=FA signing
