I thought Carey was hilarious..it's comedy, not drama....if Baldwin can do his Trump, Carey should match it with a mad magazine Biden..parity...let's not cancel comedy over politics

I loved it. I thought Jim was great. My wife and I were laughing our asses off

This was Jim's best turn as Biden. He has been good. I loved the Mr Roger's and Bob Ross bits. I think SNL captured what the town halls looked like to Anerica. I thought it was well done.

Just not funny this season. Maybe has to do with reality just seeming so... unrealistic that it's really hard to do any more parody.

Exactly. Jim us not capable of toning down and I wouldn't want him too. Baldwin's Trump and Carey's Biden are perfect foils. Baldwin's Lampooned version of Trumo requires a lampoon version of Biden. They are a perfect balance and I would say, funny enough, not to far off from reality.

The only thing I have in as much as a "complaint" about his Biden impersonation is that he's just not there yet.

I normally like Weekend Update, but I hate when they have characters on it. The "80's cocaine wife" was "skip skip skip".

Some of SNL's most iconic characters came from spots on Weekend Update. Drunk Uncle, Stefan, RBG, Rosanne Rosannedonna, Baba Wawa, to name a few.

I don't generally like Jim Carrey, but I think his Biden is great.

I disagreed with almost everything in that Vanity Fair article, though, not just about Carrey.

I don't generally like Carrey either but based on your critique I may have to see the skit. God help you if you get this wrong. Yes, there's a long walk off a plank at stake if you're wrong.

I liked the early Jim Carrey when he was with In Living Color...but yeah, a little of Jim goes a long way.

I should've said I don't mind it when they have FUNNY characters. Usually they drone on and on and aren't funny.
