So he’s going to Brooklyn or philly? I can’t see philly giving up Simmons, even if Morey is in charge.

This seems like the kind of moment where Neil could be the 3rd wheel to help this deal get through.

I don’t think there’s one guy on the current roster Neil is open to trading. Maybe Giles hehe

lol

they should include simmons and not think twice about it and if they include maxey, theryre getting harden for sure

unless fertitta wants to stick it to morey

Why do I get the feeling we will be involved in a huge trade?

I'm in the camp that believes that Olshey would never trade CJ. He's 100% invested in the idea that the Dame/CJ back court can win a championship. I think that's dumb, but I'm not paid 5M a year to be dumb like Olshey is

Maxey and Simmons (and picks?) would be a great deal for Houston. Take it and run Rockettes

From the way these reporters are talking on twitter, the hold up with Philly are the Maxey/Thybulle additions. The Simmons part is done.

I have a possible answer, because it takes so long, and Neil never leaks anything. But i doubt the Blazers are involved, i would be totally shoked
Not necessarily for Harden. I think Neil has seen enough to know he needs to acquire another vet forward that can score 15-20 night. He could very well package Trent in a deal.

In Brooklyn package, send trent+ to Houston, and try to get levert

If Philly cant swing a deal for Harden I could see them targeting CJ or Trent.
Why, when they have Seth Curry and Tyrese Maxey? And presumably they'd trade Tobias Harris for CJ, and then they'd have a glut of guards and be even thinner up front.

Really hope Philly don't trade for Harden. I like their team, and they're fine as-is.

I'm sure Harden reuniting with Durant will go at least as well as Harden reuniting with Westbrook

It takes more than 2 good players to win a championship. Closer to 8-9 players. So can a backcourt of Dame/Cj win a championship? Of course it can if the other players are really good and compliment their skills.

Maxey doesn't have a three ball as yet. I like him but he's not there yet. If they played CJ along side Simmons, thats potent. Philly is going to need 3 point shooters if they keep Si. Morey knows he's needs shooters to compete against the best.
