While we’re at it we can rename the team “The Black Holes”.

If we can get them to take CJ & Melo, that’s a heck of a deal for them, they get two black holes for the price of one.
 
Boston has a ton of first round picks including one of ours..and they can offer Brown who Houston wants......I don't think we'll outbid Danny Ainge if Ainge wants him...and that's a big "if" He'd be giving up defense for a scoring machine

They don't have a first rounder of ours... Houston has our 2021 1st and we have the rest. But they are better equipped to make that move.
 
Boston has been better equipped to land every star that has been available the last 6 years , we've been told. They didn't land any of them.
 
So who in here thinks Harden and Dame could not only co-exist but take us to contention? If you had to give up CJ, Nurk & some?

Personally, Im not sure they could unless Dame is willing to play off the ball much more?

I wouldn't fuck with that Brown/Tatum duo. They have all of those picks so I'd be looking more towards upgrading Kemba by packaging him and some of those picks for a lower priced guard and an upgrade at the 5. That's just me but honestly I wouldn't trade a guy with the upside of Brown who is already playing at that level with all of the other assets Houston would want to get Harden on that team. That team seems like they're just a couple of years and the right mid level player away from a championship. Brown and Tatum are your two stars you need to win that title.
 
Can you please merge this with the other harden thread?
 
How to you think Dame would take it when Harden shows up to practice late, doesn't travel with the team, requires whatever James wants attitude? I could see him and Dame both launching 37 footers on a regular basis.

I have less problem with Dame launching a 37 footer if he is playing one on one and has a possibility of getting an open 33 footer because Harden is also on the court with him. Now as far as Harden traveling alone? Not gonna happen this year. Late for Practice? How often does that really happen? I would think a player in James Harden's position trying to win a Championship might take the game seriously?

You might be right, but there have been a few stars that left playing with him for legit reasons. If we are going to give up CJ, Nurk and some as thats what it will take, I would hope he wants to be here and Dame wants him here.
