This works for NYK because they shed Thomas's contract, get a pick, and recieve only one year deals.

This works for BKN because they add 2 future 1sts and get better. A lineup of Lin/Russell/Carroll/Booker/Mozgov backed up by Dinwiddie/Kilpatrick/Levert/R.A./Allen might not be bottom 5.

This works for MIA because it makes them better, and balances their lineup better.

Is this rumor officially dead now? I thought I read somewhere today that Carmelo has absolutely zero interest in Portland and won't even consider it. Pretty stupid on his part. Portland is a much better fit for him. Him going to Houston would actually be really funny to watch with all those ball dominate players.

That's not what is being said at all.

Woj said that Carmelo would not waive his NTC for Portland at this time. That's it. Nothing about having zero interest or never accepting a trade here. He is still holding out hope for Houston.

I only read this thread once a day, just to see if there's any new developments. But I couldn't ignore the Harkless to Melo comparison. I love Mo, but come on. Show me all the advanced stats you want, but to try and say that Mo is arguably better than Carmelo Anthony is just ridiculous.
